Stout (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Brooke Evans of the 49ers' official site reports. Stout is nursing an AC sprain in his shoulder, but the second-year defensive back has been given the green light to play in Sunday's contest. He has 18 tackles (11 solo), including 0.5 sacks, and one pass defense through the first six games of the regular season
Stout (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Stout logged consecutive DNPs to begin Week 7 prep before upgrading to a limited participant in Friday's session. The last-minute practice participation has given the cornerback a chance to recover from his AC Joint issues in time for Sunday's contest, but it remains uncertain if the 24-year-old will suit up. If Stout cannot play, Ashtyn Davis will likely start at slot cornerback in his place
Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters Tuesday that Stout's removal from Monday's 23-17 win over the Commanders was due to an AC sprain in his shoulder, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports. Stout's practice reps during Week 6 prep was limited due to his shoulder injury. He was cleared to play Monday but was hampered by his injury, which led to Shanahan replacing Stout with Ashtyn Davis. Stout's practice participation over the coming days will provide some clarity on his status for Sunday's road game against the Falcons
Stout (shoulder) is active for Monday night's game against the Commanders, Brooke Evans reports. Stout was limited throughout Week 6 prep with a shoulder injury he sustained in the 49ers' Week 4 win over the Broncos. The cornerback has recovered enough to suit up for Monday Night Football opposite Renardo Green
Stout (shoulder) is questionable for Monday night's game against the Commanders. Stout was limited in practice all week after he initially injured the shoulder in Week 4 against the Broncos. He's yet to miss a game this season and should be fine to face Washington. Across five appearances, the cornerback has 16 tackles (nine solo), including 0.5 sacks, and one pass breakup

Stout missed Friday's practice session due to an AC joint sprain the cornerback suffered during the 49ers' Week 4 win over the Broncos. Despite missing the final practice of Week 5 prep, Stout was able to recover enough from the injury to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Seahawks
Stout (shoulder) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Stout is day-to-day with an AC joint sprain. The cornerback practiced in a limited capacity Thursday while missing the 49ers' Wednesday and Friday sessions. Stout has an outside chance to play in Sunday's contest but with one limited practice session during the middle of the week, it is unlikely
San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Stout is day-to-day with an AC joint sprain in his shoulder, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports. Stout missed time during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 24-14 win over the Broncos due to the shoulder issue, but he was able to check back into the game after receiving treatment. Though his practice participation could be affected by the injury in Week 5, the expectation is that he'll be ready to play this coming Sunday in Seattle

Stout finished with 82 tackles (43 solo), one sack and one forced fumble across 16 regular-season games in 2025. Stout was drafted in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft and was inserted as the 49ers' starting slot corner right out of the gates. The 23-year-old suffered from the occasional blown coverage, but the overall results were positive given the prominent role he was asked to fill as a rookie. The 82 combined tackles stand out from a fantasy perspective, especially considering he only saw the field in nickel or lighter formations. Stout should only improve with experience now that he solidified himself as the team's starting slot cornerback for the 2026 season
Stout (concussion) is active for Saturday night's game against the Seahawks, Briana Jeannel of the 49ers' official site reports. Stout was able to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in time for Saturday's divisional clash. The third-round rookie will have a task ahead of him, as he will likely face matchups with 2025 receiving yards leader Jaxon Smith-Njigba as well as Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed
Stout (concussion) is questionable to play against the Seahawks on Saturday. Stout suffered a concussion against the Bears on Sunday and logged an LP/LP/FP practice progression this week. Despite Friday's full session, he's been tabbed questionable for Week 18, which may mean he has yet to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol. If Stout is able to get clearance to play, including from an independent neurologist, he'll likely take on his usual role as San Francisco's starting slot cornerback for a battle with Seattle that will determine the No. 1 NFC playoff seed
