After announcing one wave of cuts on Saturday , the Dolphins have announced the rest of their moves to reduce their roster to 53 players on Sunday. Miami waived offensive tackle Gottlieb Ayedze, cornerback Miles Battle, safety Major Burns, tight end Jeremiah Franklin, quarterback Mark Gronowski, running back Jarquez Hunter, receiver Donaven McCulley, edge rusher Rodney McGraw, cornerback Jai’Onte’ McMillan, quarterback Cam Miller, defensive lineman Fatorma Mulbah, linebacker Cam Riley, and running back Carlos Washington Jr. The club released defensive lineman Matthew Butler, linebacker Tyrel Dodson, edge rusher Cameron Goode, offensive tackle Charlie Heck, safety Lonnie Johnson Jr., receiver Terrace Marshall Jr., edge rusher David Ojabo, receiver Jalen Reagor, and cornerback Marco Wilson. The Dolphins moved cornerback Darrell Baker Jr. and Storm Duck to the reserve/physically unable to perform list. And the team placed defensive lineman Kenneth Grant and edge rusher/linebacker Trey Moore on injured reserve. Both Grant and Moore have been designated to return. All four players will be eligible to return to play after the fourth game of the season

He became a fan favorite at Oregon State and he proved he can handle a huge work load out of the backfield. He has good vision and hits the hole well. The St. Thomas Aquinas High School product returns to South Florida and joins a position group that includes De’Von Achane, Ollie Gordon II , Jaylen Wright , Donovan Edwards , and Carlos Washington, Jr. Hankerson is going to have to make an immediate impact in training camp and the preseason, as well as get noticed on special teams, if he is going to force his way onto the Week 1 roster. He is probably destined to be a roster cut, possibly returning to the team on the practice squad

The Dolphins announced a handful of roster moves on Thursday. They have signed offensive lineman Marques Cox and running back Carlos Washington Jr. to their 90-man roster. They waived tight end Jalin Conyers and offensive lineman Braeden Daniels in corresponding moves. Cox spent time on practice squads in Arizona and Denver last season. He started 59 games at Northern Illinois and Kentucky with most of his playing time coming at left tackle. Washington spent the last couple of seasons with the Falcons and played in two games. He saw all of his playing time on special teams in those appearances
