NFL Injury Report | Fantasy Football Week 7, 2026
The injuries continue to pile up as we are almost midway through the fantasy regular season. Below are some of the key injuries heading into Week 7. Mike Evans has played through various injuries this season. However, the 49ers are one game away from a Week 8 bye, so he will sit out this one against the Falcons, nursing rib and Achilles injuries. With the 49ers already down Ricky Pearsall , De’Zhaun Stribling, and Deebo Samuel , San Francisco’s receiving corps is barren. The 49ers will likely deploy a rotation of veteran Brandin Cooks , Jacob Cowing , Jordan Watkins , and Christian Kirk, who is set to make his 49ers debut after returning from a calf injury. All of these players are desperation starts. It’s most likely that George Kittle feasts on National Tight End Day. Lamar Jackson practiced in a limited capacity all week. He has missed the past two games with a recently disclosed high ankle sprain and will now miss a third. With Jackson out, the Ravens’ offensive players will see a dip in production as the Ravens have mustered just 429 passing yards with Jackson sidelined. Baltimore turns to Tyler Huntley, who will start for the Ravens again, hoping to improve on his lackluster performance thus far. David Montgomery will miss his second game with a groin injury. In his absence last week, Woody Marks saw a 78% snap share and finished as the RB22 on the week. Marks will continue to see the bulk of opportunities, especially since his running mate Jawhar Jordan, who saw two red-zone touches and scored a rushing touchdown last week, was placed on the practice squad Reserve/Injured list with a quadriceps injury. Passing-down specialist Dare Ogunbowale will likely spell Marks, but he remains off the fantasy radar. Emeka Egbuka is coming off two consecutive 17-point PPR performances; however, he will miss the Buccaneers’ Week 7 matchup against the Panthers with a concussion and foot injury. Veteran Chris Godwin is set to be the focal point of the Bucs’ passing offense, with Baker Mayfield set to return from a thumb injury. Godwin makes for a strong FLEX play despite his poor results thus far. Rookie Ted Hurst is also in line for increased targets with Egbuka out. Tyler Warren will miss his second straight game with a groin injury. In his absence last week, Keenan Allen saw 11 targets, and Josh Downs saw eight. Allen and Downs combined for 45% of the Colts’ targets last week. Look for both players to be featured again as the hapless Colts take on a tough Vikings defense this week. First-round rookie Jeremiyah Love will miss his second straight game with an ankle injury. In his absence last week, Zonovan Knight and Tyler Allgeier combined for 37 total opportunities, with Allgeier seeing 20 and Knight seeing 17. Both backs will likely continue to see a near-even split in backfield opportunities in a plus matchup against the Broncos. Puka Nacua popped up mid-week on the injury report with a calf injury but is officially questionable for Week 7. With Davante Adams on IR with a ruptured hamstring, Nacua will likely try to suit up for the Rams, who are in dire need of a win. Konata Mumpfield will likely join Nacua in two-WR sets in Adams’ absence but remains off the fantasy radar. Rashee Rice will miss his second straight game as he deals with hamstring and knee ailments. Xavier Worthy saw seven targets in his absence last week and led the Chiefs in targets. Worthy will look to step up again, though the Chiefs’ offense runs through Kenneth Walker. Bijan Robinson may never come off the field this week against the 49ers. However, if he does, practice squad call-up Khalil Herbert will serve as the breather back. He is a player to monitor on the wire if Brian Robinson takes some time to recover from his hamstring injury. Mason was activated from IR and is set to return from a thumb injury that sidelined him the past four weeks. He should hop right back into his role as the 1A to Aaron Jones’ 1B in the Vikings backfield. He makes for [... truncated ...]

Brandin Cooks a Waiver Option With Expanded Receiving Opportunity
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandin Cooks is a speculative addition in 12-team leagues for managers seeking immediate receiver help, but his limited target production makes him a risky Week 7 flex option. He could see his largest workload of the season against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7, with Mike Evans (ribs, Achilles) and Deebo Samuel Sr. (hamstring) ruled out, and the matchup is favorable, as Atlanta has surrendered the most receptions and fourth-most receiving yards to opposing wide receivers this season. Cooks took over Evans' outside receiver role after the veteran exited Monday's win over the Washington Commanders, playing a season-high 32 offensive snaps (52%), but he caught just one of two targets for 13 yards and has only two receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown across three games. Jordan Watkins played 47 snaps against Washington, while Christian Kirk (calf) is questionable after practicing fully throughout the week and could return

Brandin Cooks - May take over No. 1 WR role Sunday
sleeper-rotowire+35 stories · 30dSource unavailable
Cooks could be set to work as San Francisco's top wideout Week 7 against Atlanta, as both Mike Evans (Achilles) and Deebo Samuel (hamstring) have been ruled out for the contest, per Brooke Evans of the team's official site. Cooks logged a season-high 52 percent offensive snap share in Monday's win over Washington while Samuel was sidelined, and now Evans is set to miss at least one game as well. Cooks managed just one catch on two targets for 13 yards across his 32 offensive snaps, however, as QB Brock Purdy directed a majority of his 29 passes to tight end George Kittle (eight targets) and running back Christian McCaffrey (10 targets). Kittle and McCaffrey could be looked to often again in Week 7, with Cooks, Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowing and Christian Kirk (calf) potentially competing for WR targets

Brandin Cooks Could See Expanded Role in Week 7
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandin Cooks should see an expanded role in Week 7. Over two games, Cooks has caught two of four targets for 20 yards and a touchdown while playing just 34% of snaps. The veteran receiver signed with the 49ers' practice squad in late September after multiple key receivers went down early in the season. While the 49ers are 6-0, their wide receiver room is deteriorating, with Mike Evans (Achilles) and Deebo Samuel Sr. (hamstring) trending towards possibly missing their Week 7 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The current room includes Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowing, and potentially Christian Kirk (calf) if he's activated off the PUP list. Although he's struggled to start his tenure with San Francisco, Cooks has a legitimate opportunity to start for one of the NFL's most high-powered passing attacks. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues should consider rostering the 33-year-old receiver, especially if they're dealing with bye weeks and injuries this week
