Trey Hendrickson, Zay Flowers, Ronnie Stanley among Ravens out of practice Wednesday
The Ravens had six players out of practice on Wednesday. Wide receiver Zay Flowers (hamstring) was not a surprise member of that group after he was forced out of last Sunday’s win over the Colts, but linebacker Trey Hendrickson and left tackle Ronnie Stanley were notable inclusions. Hendrickson is listed with a finger injury while a toe was given as the reason for Stanley to sit out. Defensive lineman Calais Campbell (rest), left guard John Simpson (groin), and cornerback T.J. Tampa (knee) made up the rest of the list. Tampa was injured during the win over the Colts. Linebacker Teddye Buchanan (knee), safety Keondre Jackson (shoulder), and defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) were listed as limited. Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane saw limited action in the team's second preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, finishing the contest with one catch for nine yards on two targets. A third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Lane has consistently drawn rave reviews for his work throughout training camp. The 22-year-old played three collegiate seasons at USC, recording 49 catches for 745 yards and four touchdowns across 11 games in 2025. Entering 2026, Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman profile as the top wideouts in Baltimore. However, Lane could be leading a WR3 battle that also includes fellow rookie Elijah Sarratt and 2024 fourth-rounder Devontez Walker. Bateman is also currently dealing with some legal issues regarding an alleged family violence incident. Should he face any sort of league punishment, Lane could move even further up the Ravens' wide receiver depth chart. Ja'Kobi Lane Catches Touchdown Pass in Debut as Stock Continues to Rise
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane caught all three of his targets for 38 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's preseason contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. Lane made quite an impression in his pro debut, catching every pass thrown his way and adding six points with a trip to the end zone. The third-round pick out of USC continues to boost his stock with an impressive training camp and start to the preseason. He still has two more preseason games ahead of him, but as it stands, Lane could be a sneaky candidate for the No. 2 receiver role behind Zay Flowers in Baltimore. After all, Rashod Bateman has left a lot to be desired through his first five seasons, and Devontez Walker remains lower in the pecking order despite a solid training camp. Lane is an intriguing buy-low candidate in dynasty leagues, and we wouldn't be surprised to see him get drafted in deeper redraft leagues, too. We expect the Ravens to pass more in 2026, and Lane could be a key part of the offensive attack

Ja'Kobi Lane Rising in Baltimore
Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane had another highlight play in training camp practice on Wednesday, leaping to catch a pass from quarterback Lamar Jackson in the back of the end zone during red-zone drills, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. The third-rounder from USC made a fantastic one-handed catch in practice on Tuesday with the starters, and the 6-foot-4 wideout continues to impress the coaching staff this summer. It's definitely notable for fantasy purposes, as the Ravens have a pretty wide-open WR depth chart behind WR1 Zay Flowers. Lane is competing primarily with Devontez Walker and fellow rookie Elijah Sarratt for the WR3 role behind Flowers and veteran Rashod Bateman, but it would not be surprising to see Lane surpass Bateman sooner rather than later as one of the Ravens' top aerial weapons if he continues to look like he has early in camp. Durability could be Lane's biggest hurdle because of his thin build, and he also isn't a big yards-after-the-catch guy. Lane will most likely go undrafted in most standard-sized fantasy leagues, but he could be an intriguing red-zone weapon for the Ravens to begin his NFL career

The 6-foot-4 rookie went over Marlon Humphrey for a leaping catch from Lamar Jackson on the second day of camp, a play that matched the contested-catch profile he showed at USC. Lane caught 49 passes for 745 yards and four touchdowns last season after scoring 12 times in 2024. There is real upside here. The immediate role is less certain. Zay Flowers is Baltimore's No. 1 receiver, Rashod Bateman is still projected to start, and Lane is competing with Elijah Sarratt and Devontez Walker for the remaining work. Jesse Minter said there could be major opportunities for at least one of the rookie receivers, not necessarily Lane. RotoBaller ranks him WR94 in PPR leagues and WR17 among rookies. That makes Lane a reasonable final-round swing in deeper redraft formats, but managers in ordinary 12-team leagues can wait for more evidence. Dynasty is different. His size, third-round investment, and red-zone history are worth stashing while Baltimore sorts out the depth chart. Lane offers more long-term appeal than immediate fantasy value
