Houston Texans tight end Foster Moreau only caught two passes last week in London against the Jaguars, but he found the end zone on both catches and finished with seven receiving yards to go with his two touchdowns. Just as important for his fantasy value, for the second time this season, Moreau played more snaps than Dalton Schultz, getting on the field for 39 snaps (62%) compared to Schultz's 25 snaps (40%). Moreau has exactly two catches in five of his six games this season and has been finding ways to chip in low-level production. He is extremely touchdown-dependent, but if his playing time continues to rise, he could be an interesting streaming option down the road. This week against the Giants, he is only the No. 43 TE in RotoBaller's rankings, so he can be left on the bench this week in all but the deepest of leagues

Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten has reached the end zone three times today, but only two of his touchdowns counted. Texans tight end Foster Moreau also has two touchdowns today, and a Texans field goal on top of it gives Houston a 17-14 lead at halftime. A Tuten touchdown run was overturned on a bad holding call early in the game, a major error by the official that was particularly costly when the Jaguars came away with no points after a Trevor Lawrence interception on the same possession. But in the second quarter, Tuten left no doubt when he caught two short Trevor Lawrence passes and scored on both of them. On the first, he winded his way through the Texans’ defense for a 27-yard touchdown. The second was easy, as the Texans left him open on second-and-goal for a two-yard touchdown. The Texans’ passing game is also making plays. Texans wide receiver Jaylin Noel has two catches, one for 50 yards and one for 34 yards. Texans wide receiver Nico Collins burned Travis Hunter for a 42-yard gain, and later drew a pass interference penalty on Hunter in the end zone to give the Texans first-and-goal at the 1-yard line. Texans wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. made his first catch as a Texan, a 14-yarder over the middle in the second quarter. But while the wide receivers are getting the big plays, it’s the tight end, Moreau, who is getting into the end zone. He has two touchdown catches, one from six yards out and one from one yard out. The Texans have a couple of big injury concerns on defense, as linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair is being evaluated for a concussion, and safety Reed Blankenship was carted to the locker room late in the second quarter. It’s been a tight, back-and-forth game with major implications for the AFC South
The Jaguars’ secondary is struggling today in London, and Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud is making them pay. First, Texans wide receiver Nico Collins juked out Jaguars cornerback Travis Hunter and blew by him on a deep route. Stroud hit Collins for a 42-yard catch. Then, the Jaguars’ defense left Foster Moreau wide open in the end zone for a touchdown to make the score 7-0. The Jaguars’ next drive started out promising, but it ended with nothing. Jacksonville drove deep into Houston territory and appeared to score on a touchdown run by running back Bhayshul Tuten, but it was called back because of a highly questionable holding call on Brenton Strange. That proved incredibly costly when Trevor Lawrence threw a bad pass into the end zone that was intercepted by Calen Bullock. The 1-4 Texans desperately need to beat the division-leading 4-1 Jaguars today. They’re off to a good start

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud had a strong day in London, leading the team to a 34-31 Week 6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Stroud completed 24 out of 34 passes (70.6%) for 312 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Stroud added one rushing attempt for five yards. While Stroud threw an interception in the end zone to Jaguars cornerback Travis Hunter with under four minutes to play, it did not end up costing the Texans the game, and Stroud carved up the Jacksonville defense throughout the day. He connected on a touchdown pass with wide receiver Jaylin Noel and found tight end Foster Moreau for two scores. Stroud is playing well and has an ideal matchup against the New York Giants in Week 7. He should be started in all formats

He's ranked as only the No. 41 tight end in RotoBaller's Week 6 rankings. However, if you're starting your Sunday with a single-game DFS lineup, he does bring enough upside to be a viable bargain play since he does get a few opportunities in the team's game plan in most matchups
Houston Texans tight end Foster Moreau has caught two passes in each of his three games this season, regularly getting involved as the team's second tight end behind Dalton Schultz. However, veteran Texans tight end Dalton Schultz recorded four catches for 35 yards on eight targets against Buffalo and appears to still have a firm hold on the TE1 job in Houston. The Texans will be without wide receiver Jayden Higgins (knee) for the season and could also be missing star wideout Nico Collins (hamstring) for at least the next couple of games with a hamstring injury. Still, even if Houston continues to lean into formations that utilize multiple tight ends, Moreau's fantasy upside is likely limited as long as Schultz remains healthy

The Texans announced the addition of a tight end to the roster on Sunday. They have signed Louis Hansen. There was no corresponding move needed to make room for Hansen in Houston. It’s Hansen’s second stint with the Texans. He signed with them in June and was waived in late July. Hansen played two years at Michigan and three years at Connecticut before going undrafted this April. He had 46 catches for 463 yards and four touchdowns in 40 college games. Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, second-round pick Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor are the other tight ends on the Texans’ roster
A torrent of free agency moves and draft decisions made the Houston Texans the talk of the NFL offseason from March to May, building hype among a football-starved crowd and fanbase aching for a championship. Recently, it’s felt like everyone has been aching for the Texans to break through, with Super Bowl predictions cropping up everywhere from Lance Zierlein to Aaron Schatz! It’s like Texans mania had swept the country in June…that is, until the Los Angeles Rams traded for DE Myles Garrett . Leave it to the Rams to steal the headlines and make some blockbuster trade reminiscent of their neighbors with the hardwood court and gold-and-purple get up. Besides L.A.’s tubthumping, Houston has assembled possibly their most complete team to date through the 2026 offseason, signing veteran tackles and tight ends to improve the “balance” of the offseason line, as Texans offensive coordinator Nick Caley described in his interview with the Houston Chronicle’s Jonathan M. Alexander: “You always want balance, and each game is a little different,” Caley told the Chronicle. “I think we found a way to even that out as the season progressed. So finding a way to do that. And balance doesn’t come necessarily in terms of a 50-50 run-pass ratio, but it’s also the usage of different players.” That’s why Houston added several tight ends this offseason. The Texans signed veteran Foster Moreau to a two-year deal and drafted rookie Marlin Klein in the second round. New offensive linemen like RT Braden Smith, LG Wyatt Teller , and rookie C/G Keylan Rutledge give plenty of reason for optimism after last year’s red-zone woes. But, on top of those additions, the TE room Houston has assembled in 2026 has some analysts seeing red, including Battle Red Blog’s Nickschwager, who’s bullish on the position group to take a big step forward. Maybe these new faces are all Nick Caley needed to get his ground-game churning, but to me, those new players are only half the story. Don’t get me wrong – adding all of these veterans and rookies will give the Texans’ front some real teeth, but there’s one player in particular that can springboard this group from plucky playoff underdog to true Super Bowl Goliath: second-year LT Aireontae Ersery. Maybe the name alone doesn’t get you out of your seat like one such as Will Anderson Jr. , but Aireontae Ersery’s position as CJ Stroud’s blindside protector holds just as much value as any other spot on the roster. As a rookie starter drafted in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Ersery was given hefty responsibilities in an instant and did enough to hold his own as a young LT. He had cowboy-sized boots to fill when all-star Laremy Tunsil was traded to the Washington Commanders , and even though Ersery was too slow and too handsy to be a pass a Chanel-laiden Tunsil vibe check, he certainly put plenty of teams on notice in year one: In his rookie season with the Texans in 2025, Aireontae Ersery played in: 18 Starts (Including Playoffs) – 17 Games at LT, 1 at RT (Week 1) 1,225 Snaps (Including Playoffs) – 1,166 at LT, 59 at RT; 472 Run-Blocking Snaps, 753 Pass-Blocking Snaps 7 Sacks Allowed, 11 Hits, 48 Total Pressures, 13 Penalties 58.9 PFF Grade (50.9 RBLK, 66.1 PBLK) It’s not a shining report card, but given the circumstances, Ersery showed he can be a starter in the NFL. All of those pressures given up and penalties are hard to swallow, but the majority of these came in the first eight weeks of his NFL career. Moreau appears fully recovered from the ankle injury that limited him to 11 regular-season appearances with the Saints in 2025, in which span he secured seven of 10 targets for 46 yards. He had been heavily involved in New Orleans' tight end rotation in 2024, when he logged a 32-413-5 receiving line (43 targets) while playing all 17 regular-season games. The Houston Texans signed former New Orleans Saints tight end Foster Moreau to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday, a source told Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Moreau will move to the AFC South after spending the last three seasons in the Big Easy. The 28-year-old former fourth-round pick by the Raiders in 2019 out of LSU caught 60 of his 78 targets for 665 yards and six touchdowns in 43 games (36 starts) in his three years with the Saints. Moreau only played in 11 games in 2025, though, due to an ankle injury. He finished with a career-low seven grabs on 10 targets for 59 yards and no touchdowns. At best, Moreau will serve as the No. 2 tight end in Houston in 2026 behind starter Dalton Schultz, who recently signed an extension through the 2027 campaign. Moreau can be safely ignored in single-TE leagues this fall
