Rams get back in the win column with 35-21 victory over Raiders
After a particularly disappointing loss last week and a wave of injuries, the Rams got their groove back against the Raiders on Sunday. Los Angeles defeated Las Vegas 35-21 with a strong overall performance in the desert. The Rams were particularly effective on the ground, and the club would have rushed for over 200 yards if not for kneel-downs at the end of the game. Kyren Williams led the way with 99 yards on 16 carries with a touchdown, while Blake Corum had 93 yards on 17 carries with a TD. Matthew Stafford became the Rams’ all-time leader in touchdown passes with his three first-half scoring strikes on Sunday, surpassing Roman Gabriel. He finished the contest 23-of-29 passing for 195 yards with the three scores and an interception — a pass that went right off of Colby Parkinson’s hands and into the waiting arms of Nakobe Dean. Despite dealing with a calf injury, Puka Nacua caught eight passes for 68 yards with a touchdown while also rushing for 10 yards on two carries. Tight end Davis Allen caught Stanford’s other two touchdowns in the first half. L.A. punted on its first possession, but after that scored four straight touchdowns to take a 28-6 lead into halftime. Things got a little hairy for the Rams in the second half, with a Kyren Williams fumble and the interception preventing the team from scoring more. But after Kirk Cousins’ 15-yard touchdown pass to Ashton Jeanty narrowed the Rams’ lead to 28-18, L.A. put the game away with a 12-play, 70-yard drive that ended on Corum’s 4-yard touchdown run. Cousins finished the game 26-of-44 for 295 yards with two touchdowns. Tre Tucker caught five passes for 103 yards with a TD. Jeanty had just 15 yards rushing on eight carries, though he also had 61 yards receiving on eight catches. Brock Bowers finished with 73 yards on six catches. Now at 3-4, the Rams will be back at SoFi Stadium for a matchup against the cross-town Chargers in Week 8. After starting 3-0, the Raiders have now fallen to 3-4. They will be on the road to face the Jets next Sunday

The Raiders hung with the Bills. The game was tied 13-13 at halftime and 23-23 in the fourth quarter. It never felt like the Bills were in danger of losing, though the Raiders never went away. Josh Allen led Buffalo to a 33-30 win in Las Vegas as the Bills moved to 5-1. The Raiders fell to 3-3. The Bills gained 345 yards, with 169 coming in the second half when they scored 20 points. Allen was 23-of-33 for 255 yards and two touchdowns, including a Houdini-esque 12-yard touchdown pass to Keon Coleman on third-and-8 in the fourth quarter. James Cook’s 3-yard touchdown run with 4:43 left was the go-ahead score, with Tyler Bass adding a 38-yard field goal with 1:56 remaining. Bass also made kicks from 44, 28 and 47. Coleman caught four passes for 59 yards and a touchdown, and Cook had 22 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown. The Raiders made it interesting on Kirk Cousins’ 44-yard touchdown throw to Tre Tucker with 1:32 left. The Raiders, though, didn’t have a prayer of recovering the onside kick, something they haven’t done since 2017 against the Chiefs. Matt Gay kicked a drop kick too far, and Khalil Shakir caught it in the air. Cousins finished 23-of-41 for 313 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins put on a show during Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. The veteran quarterback took advantage of the Bills' shaky secondary as he threw for over 300 passing yards. Cousins completed 23-of-41 passing attempts for 313 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the loss. The veteran quarterback connected with wide receiver Tre Tucker for a 44-yard touchdown inside of two minutes left in the game, but sadly it wasn't enough. Tre Tucker a Solid Streamer with Consistent Production
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker has emerged as a viable addition off the waiver wire with his production lately. The 25-year-old has caught four passes in each of his last three games, and his receiving total has finished between 41 and 43 yards in each of those three contests. He now ranks as the WR32 in PPR leagues through five weeks, and that includes a poor Week 1 performance. Tucker got his snap share up to a season-high mark of 75% in Week 5, and he now leads the receiver room as the unit's de facto alpha wideout. That role doesn't mean a ton in a Las Vegas offense that is really led by Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty, but it's still a testament to the respectable passing volume headed his way. Tucker has 13 targets over his last two games, and he's a solid streamer who will offer consistent production in 12+ team leagues
