Sleeper status change for Mitch Tinsley (11068). Before: status=Active, injury_status=—. After: status=Active, injury_status=Out
Tinsley (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against Tennessee. Tinsley has played in each of the Bengals' last three games and has logged four catches on eight targets for 56 yards over that span. He will observe Sunday's contest from the sidelines, and his next opportunity to play is Week 9 against the Falcons on Nov. 8
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Mitch Tinsley could take on a significantly larger role in Week 5, putting him on the WR3/flex radar for fantasy football. The Bengals have plenty of injury question marks right now, with the two biggest being Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) and Tee Higgins (groin, neck). Receiver Colbie Young (knee) is also questionable. As it stands, Higgins seems to have a better chance to play than Chase , and losing both would be devastating for Cincinnati. The good news is that the Bengals likely have some wiggle room to work with as they take on the Miami Dolphins. If one of Chase or Higgins plays, Tinsley may have trouble carving out a substantial role. However, if they're both out, Tinsley would look to replicate last week's seven-target outing, putting him on the WR3/flex radar
Both Bengals receivers listed questionable; Chase still in concussion protocol, Higgins adductor injury

Tinsley caught three of his seven targets for 49 yards in the Bengals' 22-17 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday. Tinsley's seven targets were fourth among Bengals pass catchers behind Tee Higgins' (groin) 16, Chase Brown's 11 and Dohnte Meyers' nine. Tinsley stepped up after Ja'Marr Chase exited the contest with a concussion. The wide receiver signed with the team Sept. 29 and will likely remain on the active roster while the team deals with extensive injuries to the wide receiver corps
Mitch Tinsley caught 3-of-7 targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 22-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tinsley was able to step up and make a few big plays for the Bengals on Sunday, finishing with 49 yards after signing with Cincinnati less than a week ago. He will likely continue to be a solid contributor for the team next week, with one or both of Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) and Tee Higgins (adductor) likely to be sidelined against the Dolphins
The Jaguars defeated the Bengals 22-17 on Sunday, with Joe Burrow throwing for 428 yards but also throwing two interceptions
Bengals release Ke'Shawn Williams after muffed punt return; sign Mitchell Tinsley from Texans' practice squad
The Bengals signed Tinsley off the Texans' practice squad to the active roster Tuesday. The Bengals needed to replenish their depth at wide receiver due to the injury absences of Andrei Iosivas (thumb, IR) and rookie fourth-rounder Colbie Young (knee), the latter of whom has already been ruled out for Week 4 against the Jaguars. Tinsley appeared in 17 regular-season games for the Bengals in 2025, finishing with an 8-117-2 receiving line on 24 targets, though he joined the Texans' practice squad Sept. 1 after failing to make Cincinnati's 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Now that he's back with the Bengals, Tinsley will contribute both on special teams and in a rotational role on offense
The Bengals are reportedly bringing back wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley, who played in every game for them last season
Wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley played in every game for the Bengals last season and he is reportedly heading back to Cincinnati this week. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Bengals will sign Tinsley off of the Texans’ practice squad. Tinsley was cut by the Bengals at the end of camp and he signed with the Texans earlier this month. Tinsley started four times for the Bengals last year and finished the season with eight catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns. He also appeared in two games for Washington during the 2023 season. The Bengals put Andrei Iosivas on injured reserve last week, which left Dohnte Myers, Colby Young, and Ke’Shawn Williams as the wideouts behind Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins
With Nico Collins sidelined due to injury, Mitchell Tinsley is poised for an increased role against the Bengals
Nico Collins' hamstring injury status unclear for Week 2
Tinsley signed with Houston's practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The fourth-year wideout played in all 17 games for the Bengals in 2025, stringing together an 8-116-2 line on 24 targets while handling a depth role in the receiving corps. Tinsley was unable to win a spot on the Bengals' roster coming out of training camp, but he could have a clearer path to seeing playing time in Houston at some point in 2026 with Jayden Higgins (knee) out for the season and Tank Dell (knee) set to miss at least the team's first four games
