Ja'Marr Chase returns to practice as a full participant
Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase did not participate in Wednesday’s practice, but it doesn’t seem like he’s at risk of missing Sunday’s matchup against the Titans. Cincinnati listed Chase as a non-participant with an ankle injury, but also with rest. That implies that Chase could have practiced on Wednesday, but he also received some treatment on his ankle. Chase was on the field for 87 percent of Cincinnati’s offensive snaps in the Week 7 victory over Baltimore — the same as fellow receiver Tee Higgins. In six games so far this season, Chase has caught 32 passes for 351 yards with five touchdowns. He has not yet had a 100-yard game. Also on the injury report, safety Kyle Dugger (quad) and defensive tackle Jonathan Allen (rest) did not participate. Safety Jordan Battle (hamstring) and linebacker Joe Giles-Harris (calf) were limited

The Bengals’ performance in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Ravens left wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase in a foul mood. Baltimore was winning 13-0 and the Bengals had just 59 yards over their 20 offensive plays, so Chase made sure that his teammates knew that the effort was unacceptable. “I came in here screaming , saying, ‘Somebody’s got to make a play for us, somebody got to make a play,’” Chase said, via Ben Baby of ESPN.com. “And I told our offense [that] we can’t look at our defense the whole time. We’ve got to step this s—t up and make something work.” Chase may have a future as a motivational speaker. The Bengals scored 35 points while picking up 298 yards during the second half of a 35-13 win that played out in very improbable fashion. Chase and company will try to keep things flowing into next Sunday’s home date with the Titans
The Ravens were in complete control for the first half of Sunday’s divisional matchup with the Bengals. But Cincinnati flipped the script for the game’s final 30 minutes, scoring touchdowns on five consecutive possessions to defeat Baltimore, 35-13. The Bengals did next to nothing on offense for the first half of the contest, with Baltimore dominating time of possession 22:20 to 7:40. Joe Burrow was just 6-of-12 passing for 43 yards and Tee Higgins did not have a catch over the first 30 minutes. But everything changed in the third quarter, as Burrow got things going with a 6-yard touchdown to Mike Gesicki. Then he tossed a 13-yard touchdown to Higgins, giving Cincinnati a 14-13 lead. It didn’t stop there, as Samaje Perine’s 1-yard touchdown increased the lead after a turnover on downs. Ja’Marr Chase got in the action with a 2-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter. And Burrow tossed his fourth score after the defense picked off Tyler Huntley, firing a 16-yard TD to Drew Sample. Burrow finished 22-of-30 for 292 yards with four touchdowns, exiting the game with just under five minutes left in the fourth quarter with the outcome all but official. Joe Flacco came in for mop-up work against his former team. Higgins caught six passes for 148 yards with a TD. Chase had five receptions for 62 yards with a score. While the Ravens were 8-of-11 on third down in the first half, they didn’t convert one again until there was just over a minute left in the game — finishing 9-of-16 in the category. On the injury front, Bengals tight end Erick All (knee) and safety Kyle Dugger (quad) were both ruled out. Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith had to exit early in the fourth quarter with a knee issue. Now at 4-2, the Bengals will face the Titans at home next weekend. The 4-3 Ravens will be on the road to face the Bills in Week 8

Ravens lead Bengals 13-0 at halftime despite Lamar Jackson's absence
The AFC North has started the season looking like one of the NFL's best divisions, and one of its biggest rivalries is set for Sunday, with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens are 4-2 and were upset by Cleveland last week, while the Bengals are 3-2 and come off their bye week. The Ravens won't get superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson back this week as he misses his third week in a row with an ankle injury. On the other side, star Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase will hope to keep up his dominant play against Baltimore, as he has eight receiving touchdowns in 10 games against Cincy's rival. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET. DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Bengals as 3-point road favorites in its latest Bengals vs. Ravens odds, and the Over/Under is set at 46.5. Cincy is in good shape in the health department coming off the bye. Joe Burrow has Chase, Tee Higgins and Chase Brown all at his disposal. Chase has more touchdowns against the Ravens (eight in 10 games) than he does against any other opponent since debuting in 2021. As for the Ravens, they need to wait another week for Jackson's return, so the assumption is he'll return for Week 9 against Buffalo. Baltimore beat Atlanta in overtime in Week 5 with Tyler Huntley starting, but Baltimore fell in a low-scoring affair in Week 6 to Cleveland. The Bengals are 2-2 against the spread with a push this year, and the Ravens are 2-3 ATS with a push. Cincinnati is 3-3 to the Over and Baltimore is 3-3. Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase enters Sunday's game against the rival Ravens with 27 receptions for 289 yards and four touchdowns. Chase has scored a touchdown in three of the last four games, which includes one in Cincinnati's win against the Miami Dolphins prior to its bye week. The former LSU standout has recorded 75 receptions for 1,204 yards and eight touchdowns in 10 career games against the Ravens. Chase is listed at +105 odds to score an anytime touchdown against Baltimore on Sunday. Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs enters Week 7 ranked fifth among NFL players with 504 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns, which is tied with several others for the most among running backs, along with two additional receiving touchdowns. Gibbs also ranks fourth among NFL players with 100.8 rushing yards per game. The former Alabama standout recorded 151 yards and two touchdowns on 25 rushing attempts during a Week 5 win against the Arizona Cardinals prior to the bye week. Gibbs has, however, recorded less than his rushing yards market in four of his last five games against teams with a winning record, averaging 43.0 yards per game in that span. The SportsLine Projection Model predicts Gibbs will record an average of 74.8 yards against the Packers. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw zero passing touchdowns on Sunday for the first time since November 23. Mahomes had previously thrown two or more touchdowns in each of his first four games, with a total of nine in five games. The two-time NFL MVP has exceeded his passing touchdowns market in four of his last five games, averaging 1.8 passing touchdowns per game in that span. The SportsLine Projection Model predicts Mahomes will throw for 2.0 touchdowns on average against the Seahawks Sunday night. There’s a very good reason for Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey not wanting to cover Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase. Chase routinely eats Baltimore’s lunch. And dinner. And breakfast. Via NBC Sports research, Chase averages 117.1 receiving yards per game against the Ravens. That’s the highest number for any player against an opponent in NFL history, based on a minimum of 10 games. Chase would surely love to have one of his typical performances against Baltimore on Sunday. Chase has yet to generate a 100-yard game in 2026. The closest he came was against Pittsburgh in Week 3, when he had nine catches for 98 yards in a 30-27 loss
