Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens signed the non-exclusive franchise tag, but he hasn't attended the team's voluntary offseason workouts. It's likely an indication that he isn't happy playing on the one-year, $27.3 million tag that is fully guaranteed, and the Cowboys have made it clear they won't negotiate on a long-term deal this year. Pickens' 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns justified the tag, but no other team has moved to attempt a trade with the Cowboys. The Cowboys — and every other team that might be interested in Pickens — is looking for an encore before committing the $30 million-plus per season it's going to take to sign Pickens long term. “This is great from our view,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told Jori Epstein of Yahoo Sports. “For him as well, it lets him really extend what he's got going right now in light of the fact that . . . when we got him, we got him for no other reason than because there was a long-term question . Through next year and this year, he’ll answer all those questions.” His inconsistency in Pittsburgh was the reason the Steelers offloaded a talented wide receiver for only a third-round pick. His habitual tardiness continued in Dallas , although he lived up to his potential on the field. Now, it's figuring out how much a team is willing to commit and for how long. Nine wide receivers make more than $30 million annually, led by Jaxon Smith-Njigba 's $42.150 million average. The Cowboys expect Pickens, in his second season with Dak Prescott , to show up and show out. “We will expect more earlier,” Jones told Epstein. “He will expect more. That he not only build on where he got to last year, the preparation will be out there happening as a major part in any series or any game. So I think from the get-go, he will have more to give in the plans of what we're doing early and late in the season.”
Almost a month after the draft, you already know a lot of things about the Dallas Cowboys rookies. But no matter how much time you’ve spent observing the 2026 rookie class, there are still things you don’t know about them. Here are seven things you may not have known: The Cowboys have traditionally liked drafting college team captains, and this year is no different. Five of the seven draft picks were team captains in college. Caleb Downs , Malachi Lawrence, Drew Shelton, LT Overton , were all team captains in college, WR Anthony Smith was a game-day captain in his senior season. In the case of Downs and Overton, this is particularly noteworthy as it’s a rarity for a transfer player to be voted captain in college. The Rivals database , which records how players were ranked coming out of high school, shows the 2025 Cowboys with just four 5-star recruits on the roster – OT Tyler Booker , DE Jadeveon Clowney , DE Dante Fowler, and WR George Pickens – all of whom were added in 2025. Booker and Pickens remain on the roster, but the Cowboys gave themselves a big helping of former 5-star recruits in 2026: Three were added via free agency: DE Rashan Gary , DT Jonathan Bullard , CB Derion Kendrick Two more were added via the draft: S Caleb Downs and DT LT Overton were both 5-star recruits coming out of high school. In fact, the entire draft class was well thought of coming out of high school, including four UDFAs with a 4-star rating: body .sbnu-legacy-content-table td, body .sbnu-legacy-content-table th, body .sbnu-legacy-content-table { border: 1px solid #000 !important; border-collapse: collapse !important; } Round Player POS College Star Rating 1 Caleb Downs S Ohio State 5 1 Malachi Lawrence DE UCF 3 3 Jaishawn Barham OLB Michigan 4 4 Drew Shelton T Penn State 4 4 Devin Moore CB Florida 4 4 LT Overton DT Alabama 5 7 Anthony Smith WR East Carolina 3 UDFA Michael Trigg TE Baylor 4 UDFA DJ Rogers TE TCU 4 UDFA Jordan Hudson WR SMU 4 UDFA Kelvin Gilliam DT Virginia Tech 4 It’s still early in the process, and the Cowboys still have to whittle down their roster from the current 90 players, but compared to the 74 players (returning players + reserve/future + RFA + ERFA +UFA) they had prior to the start of free agency in March, the Cowboys increased their number of 4-and 5-star recruits from 28 to 36. That’s something. And the veterans are noticing it too. Jake Ferguson recently said “this is the best talent he’s seen in the Cowboys’ tight end room.” One of the draft assumptions frequently made about the Cowboys is their supposed preference for Senior Bowl players, but that may be an out-of-date assumption. The Cowboys did draft six seniors with their seven picks (only Caleb Downs is a junior), but only LT Overton participated in the Senior Bowl. Caleb Downs (1st) and Malachi Lawrence (1st) were on the pre-draft visitor list, and we found out during the draft that Jaishawn Barham (3rd) had been a visitor as well. Outside of that, UDFA DT Tommy Dunn was the only other player who came in for a visit, and he was brought in for Dallas Day. It’s not much, and we’re still waiting for somebody to inadvertently leak at least part of the board. But barring that, here’s what we know. Per David Moore , Caleb Downs was the fourth player on the Cowboys board. David Bailey, Arvell Reese, and Jeremiyah Love were the only players ahead of him. Bailey was the only other player the Cowboys would have been tempted to move up for. Prior to the fourth round, where the Cowboys had three picks, Cowboys director of college scouting Mitch LaPoint said the team still had eight players left on their board with third-round grades . No word yet on whether any of their picks carried a third-round grade. In early January, Stephen Jones mentioned the Cowboys “wanted to focus more on power 5 schools” and explained that NIL was driving small-school talent to larger schools. And true to their word, th

As he does entering any NFL season, Emmitt Smith has big expectations for the Dallas Cowboys . The 2026 campaign excites Smith for obvious reasons, such as the second year under head coach Brian Schottenheimer, the addition of defensive coordinator Christian Parker and safety Caleb Downs , and the seemingly smooth handling of George Pickens and the franchise tag. But it's the lack of noise coming from "Big D" and owner Jerry Jones that has the Pro Football Hall of Fame running back believing things might be different after all for a team that hasn't reached the NFC Championship game since the 1995 season. “I think the bigger sign is that it’s been a slow, quiet offseason – the way it needs to be,” Smith told USA TODAY Sports on May 12. “Now that we’ve gotten George Pickens out of the way, quietness is important, because it says the focus is where it needs to be – on the field." That focus is important for both the fans and players, Smith said. "It’s important for people to know, ‘We don’t need all that drama.’ We’re too good of an organization to be dealing with all that drama. Don’t need it," Smith said. "Sometimes you have to rise above the fray, and this is one of those times where we need to rise above the fray. Because the last 31 years have not produced the things that we want to see. There’s no reason to be having drama when you don’t have to. You don’t have to create it." During his playing days, Smith didn’t want to give opposition any “bulletin-board material.” “That’s what drama brings," said Smith, who Spoke to USA TODAY Sports on behalf of his partnership with Bud Light, which includes a commercial he filmed with Peyton Manning to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. “I have to believe that our Cowboys team is going to be better than they were last year,” he added. Nate Davis: We found 13 wins on the Cowboys' 2026 schedule – how about you? | Opinion The 2025 season, Schottenheimer's first at the helm following five seasons of Mike McCarthy (now with the Pittsburgh Steelers ) coaching the team, ended with a 7-9-1 record. The offense looked explosive with quarterback Dak Prescott and his top two receivers CeeDee Lamb and Pickens, but the defense was a disaster. No team gave up more points than Dallas, which also struggled situationally (worst opponent third-down conversion rate). Matt Eberflus was fired and replaced by Parker, who joins from the rival Philadelphia Eagles . Firing the defensive coordinator was the right move, said Smith, who called Parker a “young guy who can communicate and relate to these young players." "This defensive coordinator now has a chance to bring all of the pieces together," the three-time Super Bowl champion said. A year ago, Jones couldn't keep himself out of the headlines as the contract impasse with Micah Parsons extended into training camp. Dallas traded Parsons to the Green Bay Packers a week before the regular season began for two first-round picks and nose tackle Kenny Clark. The calmness, especially compared to last year's antics, is a welcome development for Smith. The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly considering free agent running back Nick Chubb, whom ESPN's Matt Bowen identified as a potential fit for the team. Chubb, who suffered a major knee injury in 2023, showed flashes of his former self last season with 506 rushing yards and three touchdowns, averaging over four yards per attempt. He could serve as a valuable RB2 or RB3 behind starter Javonte Williams, providing power and vision in short-yardage situations and contributing in the passing game on checkdowns. A one-year, inexpensive deal is seen as a possibility for the 30-year-old back
Kicker Brandon Aubrey has signed a record-breaking contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys, expressing his happiness to have the deal finalized and to remain with his hometown team. This resolution removes contract disputes from the headlines, a common occurrence for the Cowboys
This is quite the confident statement to make. DeMarvion Overshown has played just 19 games in three seasons. Knee injuries have kept the Dallas Cowboys linebacker off the field for far too much time, but he believes that’s about to change. Overshown spoke to reporters during the team’s voluntary workouts and said he’s completely healthy, calling it a blessing. He then issued a statement that the rest of the league should pay attention to, claiming we haven’t seen him at his best yet. “I feel like everybody knows when I’m healthy, I’m one of the best linebackers in the league. That’s not to toot my own horn, but the film and the stats speaks for itself when I’m on the field. Being healthy is the number one way to stay on the field and be able to do what I do,” Overshown said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic . “The fact that I get to go through this whole offseason as a healthy man, and coming into training camp healthy, I feel like people ain’t seen my best yet. So, I know it’s going to be one of my best years.” George Pickens continues to show his loyalty to Dallas despite his contract situation. Will Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens show up for mandatory offseason work? It remains to be seen for a receiver who signed his franchise tag but likely wants what the Cowboys currently don’t intend to give him: a long-term deal. That won’t stop his work with quarterback Dak Prescott, however. Prescott, speaking Thursday from annual Reliant Home Run Derby in Frisco, said he and Pickens have thrown this offseason together even though Pickens didn’t show up for voluntary workouts earlier this month . Prescott said he and Pickens will also continue to throw together as needed, which isn’t abnormal from what Prescott has done with other receivers during his decade-long career as the starting quarterback of the Cowboys. Prescott also hinted about Pickens’ potential plans for later in the offseason. “Obviously he signed the tag, so when he has to be there and ready to play, he’s going to be there,” Prescott said. “He’s a hell of a talent.” Pickens proved that a season ago. Pickens made the Pro Bowl last season for the first time in his four-year career. It was a breakout year for him after the Cowboys acquired him from the Steelers . He set career highs in all three major receiving categories, finishing with 93 receptions for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns. Caleb Downs is as advertised so far in Dallas. FRISCO, Texas – Nearly a month after the 2026 NFL Draft, the Cowboys’ rookie class has begun integrating with the veterans and new additions to Dallas’ roster. At the forefront of the newcomers is Caleb Downs, who Dallas selected with the 11 th overall pick. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said at the team’s charity home run derby Thursday night that he’s already spent some time around Downs and is looking forward to seeing what he can accomplish in his highly anticipated rookie season. “I love that way that’s he wired and I’m excited for him,” Prescott said. “He’s got some great vets, whether it be myself to ask questions to or great vets on that defensive side now to help make sure that he gets off to a great start.” Being a first-round pick comes with a lot of pressure and expectations, and the Cowboys have not been shy about their praise for Downs and what they believe he can do in new defensive coordinator Christian Parker’s system. Downs’ teammates have already seen first-hand how he’s handling everything that comes with being a rookie with lofty hopes. “He’s a worker for sure,” Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown said. “He wants to get better every day. His film speaks for itself. I feel like he came in already with the media talking about he’s a first rounder and they’re expecting a lot from him. He just kind of disregarded it, just coming in working every day hard. Just want to help do whatever to help the team [get] better. Another interesting nugget about the Christian Parker hire. When it comes to the Dallas Cowboys , there seems to be no shortage of optimism each and every year they will finally get over the hump and make a deep playoff, and perhaps a Super Bowl run. Sadly, that optimism seems to quickly fizzle out, leaving us disappointed on what could’ve been. This year could be very much the same, however, for whatever reason it already feels a little different than it has in the past. The Cowboys have conducted business a little differently over the past two offseasons, first hiring Brian Schottenheimer in his first ever head-coaching job last year and now bringing in a first-time defensive coordinator in Christian Parker. Despite Dallas’ losing record last year, there’s still a lot of optimism surrounding Schottenheimer as the man for the job, and for the unproven new DC, Parker. While there is still a lot of unknown surrounding the Dallas Cowboys heading into the 2026 NFL season, there’s a lot of excitement encompassing this team right now. Today, we want to highlight the offensive side of the ball and share why we should all be excited about what this unit is capable of this season. By re-signing RB Javonte Williams and placing the franchise tag on WR George Pickens , the Dallas Cowboys retained their starters from a season ago. Williams and Pickens alone accounted for 20+ touchdowns last season for an offense that was one of the best in the entire league, finishing second in yards per game (391.9) and passing yards per game (266.3), seventh in points per game (27.7), and ninth in rushing yards per game (125.6). With the band back together, they should be even better in Year 2 under Brian Schottenheimer’s tutelage. CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens should once again be among the best WR duos in the entire league in 2026, but the attention these two will draw from opposing defenses on a week to week basis will create more favorable opportunities for the rest of Dallas’ offensive weapons, particularly Ryan Flournoy. He pretty much came out of nowhere last year and emerged as a reliable/trusted target for Dak Prescott . After catching 40 passes for 475 yards and four touchdowns, there’s a good chance he’ll be even better in Year 3 as Dallas’ WR3. A season ago the Dallas Cowboys were forced to navigate around the injury bug due to several of their starting offensive lineman missing multiple games throughout the season. Whether it was Cooper Beebe missing time in the middle of the OL or the revolving door on the blindside at LT, the Cowboys unfortunately didn’t play with the original starting five very much last year. Hopefully that was just a fluke. A healthy OL highlighted by three former first-round picks has the talent and ability to be one of the best units in the entire league this season

Featured pricing is subject to change. After their 7-10 2024 season, the Dallas Cowboys blew everything up. America’s Team let head coach Mike McCarthy go, Jerry Jones traded star linebacker Micah Parsons and the club appeared to be poised to head in a new direction. Under new play-caller Brian Schottenheimer, Dak Prescott and co. went 7-9-1. Lots of change, little difference. Now, Schottenheimer heads into Year 2 on the hot seat with a difficult slate of opponents on his 2026 itinerary. Just a few of the most threatening foes slated to visit Arlington’s AT&T Stadium this year include Jayden Daniels ’ Washington Commanders in the season opener(Sept. 20), Brock Purdy ’s San Francisco 49ers (Nov. 15) and Jalen Hurts ’ Philadelphia Eagles (Nov. 26). While that may seem difficult, Yahoo! Sports reports that the Cowboys have been blessed with the NFL’s 12th easiest strength of schedule due to their subpar 2025 campaign. Collectively, their opponents had a .493 winning percentage last year. That’s a nice bonus. Throw in the fact that the franchise brought in new defensive coordinator Christian Parker, traded for elite edge rusher Rashan Gary , drafted safety Caleb Downs and signed safety Jalen Thompson and cornerback Cobie Durant to address defensive concerns, and things are looking a bit brighter in Dallas. “Right now we got tunnel vision on doing things the right way,” Parker, 34, said in a press conference. On the other side of the ball, Prescott’s electric offense with George Pickens , CeeDee Lamb , Javonte Williams , Jake Ferguson and offensive lineman Tyler Smith return. The 2026 NFL schedule has been released, and Yahoo Fantasy Football writers have highlighted their most anticipated matchups. Key games include Chiefs at Seahawks, featuring Kenneth Walker III facing his former team, and the Cowboys at Giants, offering an early look at the Dallas offense, including George Pickens
The 2026 regular season schedule was officially released on Thursday night for all 32 NFL teams. For the Baltimore Ravens, this year’s schedule announcement was highly anticipated as the franchise enters a new-look era under head coach Jesse Minter. How does each game on the schedule shape up? Let’s run through all 17 matchups and break them down. The Ravens open their season on the road for the third straight season, this time traveling to Indianapolis to play the Colts. The Colts were one of the league’s best teams during the first half of the 2025 season before tailing off and finishing with a losing record (8-9). They have a big question mark at quarterback with Daniel Jones returning from a torn achilles injury but a solid offensive line and talent on defense. They also one of the best running backs in the league in Jonathan Taylor , which will give the Ravens’ run defense a big test right away. In Week 2, the Ravens will host the New Orleans Saints in their home opener. The Saints finished 6-11 last season but ended the year winning four of their final five games. Rookie quarterback Tyler Shough showed a lot of growth and nearly won Offensive Rookie of the Year. The Ravens a clear talent advantage over the Saints on paper but will have to avoid overlooking a young team at home ahead of a more anticipated matchup. The Saints also have a good group of playmakers on offense with WR Chris Olave , RB Alvin Kamara , RB Travis Eteienne, and incoming first-round pick WR Jordan Tyson. While this is technically an away matchup, the Ravens will be playing the Cowboys in Brazil. International games always have an unpredictable nature to them. The Cowboys missed out on the playoffs last season but have plenty of talent, headlined by a top-tier wide receiver duo ( CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens ) along with gunslinger quarterback Dak Prescott . Their passing attack will challenge the Ravens’ secondary and be a good litmus test for how much their pass defense has improved from last year. Dallas also made big upgrades to their defense this offseason and should be more formidable on that side of the ball. After a long travel week out of the country, the Ravens will be pleased to get another favorable matchup back on home turf. The Titans finished tied for the league’s worst record last season with just three wins, although they will a much different look in 2026. They should be an improved squad under Robert Saleh and a new coaching staff in quarterback Cam Ward’s sophomore season. However, the Ravens still have the talent advantage across the board. This will be the second home game in the first few weeks where the Ravens are facing a rising second-year quarterback. The Ravens’ first primetime contest of the year comes on the road in Week 5, where they’ll face the Atlanta Falcons. It’s unclear who will be the Falcons’ starting quarterback between Michael Penix Jr . and Tua Tagovailoa , but they have high-level offensive playmakers regardless in RB Bijan Robinson , WR Drake London , and TE Kyle Pitts . The Falcons finished one game under .5o0 last season and hired a new head coach, Kevin Stefanski, who the Ravens are familiar with from his time in Cleveland . Stefanski should help the Falcons be competitive and this will be a challenging road matchup in a dome environment. In Week 6, the Ravens will play their first consecutive road game and also their first divisional opponent. It will be the team’s first taste of the Cleveland Browns with Todd Monken as the new head coach. Given Monken was Baltimore’s offensive coordinator for the past three seasons, it will be interesting to see if he has any advantages up his sleeve. Myles Garrett ’s game-wrecking ability always makes the Browns’ defense a threat, but their uncertainty at quarterback remains on the other side of the ball. Their young talent on offense makes the group intriguing, though, and not to be overlooked. The Browns used several early-round draft picks this year on offe

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott advised wide receiver George Pickens to " bet on yourself " when Pickens received the franchise tag earlier this year and Pickens took that advice. Pickens signed the tag despite the Cowboys saying they have no plans to work out a long-term contract extension with the wideout this offseason. Pickens's decision has not led him to take part in the voluntary portions of the team's offseason program, but that isn't an issue for Prescott when it come to Pickens's preparation for the season. While at the team's charity home run derby Thursday, Prescott said that he and Pickens have done "as much as needed" while working together on their own and that he has no doubt Pickens will hit the ground running once he is with the team. "I've just showed George my support ," Prescott said, via the team's website. "The guy that I know George is, obviously he signed the tag, so when he has to be there and ready to play, he's going to be there. He's a hell of a talent. We've thrown this offseason, so I'm comfortable with where he's at and I'm excited for when he can get in the building and get rolling." The only mandatory work of the Cowboys' offseason is at their minicamp in mid-June. Pickens may not be around until that starts, but that won't be an issue for his quarterback

Did the Cowboys do enough on defense during the offseason to help their offense? Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN Monday Night football commentator Troy Aikman made a guest spot on ESPN’s “Get Up” this week to talk about all things NFL ….. and, of course, the Dallas Cowboys . Here are some highlights from his Tuesday appearance: With the acquisitions Dallas has made this offseason, will the defense improve to a level where the Cowboys can compete better in the 2026 season? Aikman: “I think so. I mean, that is the big question. They can only get better. And it’s early, I understand that, but I do like the hire of Christian Parker . I think sometimes you bring in a young assistant who now is getting his opportunity after having coached under some really good people over the course of his career, he comes in with a good resume, all indications are that the players are excited about it. I think what they’ve done, starting with the draft , to address some of those needs on the defense has been positive. “What I think gets lost a little bit, the offense was so prolific last year, and then you’ve got a healthy Dak Prescott , and unfortunately for them, we saw it with Joe Burrow on the Bengals a couple of years ago. When you have that kind of play at the quarterback position, typically, that means good things when the season comes to an end. And yet, for Dallas, they failed even make the postseason. Can that offense continue to play at the level that they did last year? And that’s a big if. It was one of Dak Prescott’s best years. It was George Pickens ’ career year. It was Javonte Williams ’ career year. There was a lot that happened on the offensive side of the ball. The numbers may not look as good. In fact, I think if you’re a Cowboys fan, you hope the offensive numbers don’t look as good, because that would then mean that the defense is better and playing a much bigger role in the success of that team.” There’s some key questions that will be answered on Thursday. While the Cowboys already know their opponents and venues , the exact order of the team’s schedule will be made public Thursday. There are three very notable things to look for when that 18-week schedule comes out: What happens after Brazil? I’m heading into the schedule release with the thought that the Cowboys will get a home game in Arlington in Week 2 before heading off to Brazil in Week 3. But what happens after that? A bye week directly after Brazil is not possible, as the league doesn’t implement byes until Week 5. As a result, the Cowboys will make the nearly 11-hour flight back to Dallas and gear up for another game the following week. Since the Brazil contest technically counts as a “home game,” will the league schedule three consecutive “home games” for Dallas? If so, that sets up a significant road swing at some point in the season. If the league sees an easier scenario to send the Cowboys back out on the road, it can’t be for a significantly long trip. Maybe this is where it makes sense to put the trip to Houston to take on the Texans for, say, a Monday night game. Teams that have played in Brazil in the past have complained about the travel requirements early in the season. And considering the only two prior Brazil games have been played on Fridays, the Cowboys and Ravens will take on an even tougher challenge early in the year. How tough that challenge is will be the first thing to look at when the schedule drops. Devin Moore has a shot to be a Day 3 steal. FRISCO, Texas – When it comes to some of the traits that the Cowboys have liked at the cornerback position in years past, size is one that Dallas seems to covet at the position. Their fourth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft out of Florida Devin Moore has it. Moore measured in at 6’3 ¼” at the combine, and he becomes the tallest cornerback on the Cowboys’ roster. Throughout his career at Florida, Moore dealt with a multitude of injuries that prevented him from seeing consistent play

As part of the NFL’s slow-dripping of its schedule release, the league announced its full international schedule on Wednesday. Based on the slate of home teams, the final possibilities for the Green Bay Packers to play globally in 2026 were either as the road team against the Detroit Lions (Germany) or New Orleans Saints (France). With that being said, there were previous statements made that the Lions wanted to protect the Packers game from being an international contest, so it was doubtful that Green Bay would be pegged to that slot. So when it was announced officially that the New England Patriots were going to take on the Lions and the Pittsburgh Steelers were going to play the Saints, it officially ruled the Packers out of international play. Now that the Dallas Cowboys will play a second international game, as the host team in Brazil, Green Bay is tied (with two games played) as the club with the fewest global contests played in NFL history. While they’ve managed to avoid an overseas game in 2026, it’s setting up for the Packers to be “due” for an international game in future seasons. The league will release its full schedule on Thursday at 7 pm ET
George Pickens has not attended the Dallas Cowboys' voluntary offseason workouts following his franchise tag signing on April 29. Mandatory minicamp is not until June 16
Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens signed his franchise tag on April 29, and executive vice president Stephen Jones said soon after the team expected Pickens to show up for voluntary work. Monday was the first team workout for the Cowboys since Pickens signed the one-year, $27.3 million deal, and Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Pickens was not present. Nothing is mandatory until June 16, so he can stay away until then without being fined. The Cowboys announced they will not negotiate a long-term deal with Pickens this offseason, and Jones has repeatedly said the team has “zero interest” in trading Pickens. The Cowboys traded for Pickens a year ago, and he led the team in targets (137), catches (93), yards (1,429) and touchdowns (eight) in 2025
Breece Hall has signed a three-year, $45.75 million contract with the Jets, securing his long-term future with the team after being franchise tagged. The deal includes $29 million guaranteed and makes him one of the highest-paid running backs in the league
Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said Tuesday they have "zero interest" in trading George Pickens. Jones added that they have not been told if Pickens will be at all mandatory portions of the offseason program. "Certainly, that's what we expect," he said. "I mean, anytime a player signs a contract and the expectations, as we hold for all of our players, is when you sign up and you're under contract then you're expected to do what your teammates are doing."
