Patriots release RB Hassan Haskins
The Patriots traded for running back Corey Kiner on Saturday and they made space for him by parting ways with another back. They announced that they have released Hassan Haskins when they confirmed their trade with Arizona for Kiner. Haskins signed with the Patriots earlier this month and saw action in all three of the team’s preseason games. Haskins spent the last two seasons with the Chargers and entered the league as a Titans fourth-round pick in 2022. Patriots sign RB JaMycal Hasty
Running back JaMycal Hasty is back with the Patriots. New England announced Hasty’s signing on Thursday afternoon. Running back Terrell Jennings was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Hasty joined the Pats as a waiver claim in 2023 and remained with the club through his release on cutdown day last summer. He moved on to the Dolphins’ practice squad. Hasty had 20 carries for 69 yards and 10 catches for 59 yards and a touchdown during his first stint with the team. He also appeared in 39 games for the 49ers and Jaguars before coming to New England. The Patriots also signed running back Hassan Haskins this week. Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson remain atop the depth chart

The Patriots made a change to their running back group on Wednesday. They announced the signing of Hassan Haskins to the active roster. Myles Montgomery was waived with an injury designation in a corresponding move. Haskins’s last game in the NFL came against the Patriots as he was a member of the Chargers in their playoff loss in New England last season. Haskins spent the last two seasons playing for his college coach Jim Harbaugh in Los Angeles and ran 51 times for 136 yards and two touchdowns. The Titans drafted Haskins in the fourth round in 2022 when Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel was still in Tennessee. He ran 25 times for 93 yards as a rookie, but spent the 2023 season on injured reserve

Wide receiver Lawrence Keys was waived with an injury designation. Blackshear played 41 games for the Panthers from 2022-2024, but did not see any regular season action last year. He ran 52 times for 203 yards and three touchdowns and saw time as a returner during his years in Carolina. Ladd McConkey an Appealing Dynasty Buy-Low Candidate Ahead of 2026
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey put together an underwhelming 2025 season, recording 66 catches for 789 yards and six touchdowns on 106 targets across 16 games. After finishing as the WR12 in PPR scoring in 2024, McConkey fell all the way to WR30 last season. However, there are reasons to believe the 24-year-old will bounce back in 2026. For one, Los Angeles hired Mike McDaniel as its new play-caller for 2026, which should help open up the offense and maximize McConkey's talent. Secondly, former Chargers wideout Keenan Allen currently remains unsigned. Allen led the team in targets in 2025 and also forced McConkey out of his natural position in the slot. As long as Allen does not end up back in Los Angeles, McConkey should be in line to set a new career-high in targets this year. In dynasty leagues where his stock is down, McConkey profiles as a prime buy-low target for fantasy managers
