2026 Season Outlook
Charbonnet is a fairly straightforward evaluation now that he has 1,473 snaps logged at the NFL level, so the only real question in his 2026 projection is how quickly he can recover from the ill-timed ACL tear he suffered in the Divisional Round playoff game against San Francisco. Charbonnet underwent surgery in February to repair the injury, and from that point a loose prognosis range of 8-to-10 months was suggested. Eight months from February is October and 10 from February is December, though coach Mike MacDonald said Charbonnet won't miss the entire season. How much he does play, though, remains highly unclear. When healthy Charbonnet is a capable starter who can provide power and passing-down ability, though he tends to grind more than making big plays from scrimmage.
