The article identifies potential dynasty fantasy football ADP mistakes, highlighting Kyren Williams as overvalued due to decreasing production and the increased role of Blake Corum. It suggests tiering down from Williams to other running backs like Cam Skattebo, Travis Etienne, Javonte Williams, Bhayshul Tuten, Derrick Henry, or D'Andre Swift. Luther Burden is also mentioned as a polarizing prospect with flashing potential despite a concerning junior season
By the end of the 2026 season, after the Dallas Cowboys play in Mexico City, the Green Bay Packers will have played the fewest games internationally of any NFL club. That could be changing in the near future. On Tuesday, the NFL’s owners approved the league to schedule 10 international games moving forward, up from the 8 that are on the books for the 2026 season. Maybe more importantly, though, owners also passed a rule that takes away teams’ ability to block specific home games from playing overseas. Currently, teams have the right to protect two home opponents from being played at an international site. This is significant because it’s been made known that the Detroit Lions wanted to keep their matchup against the Packers in Detroit, eliminating Green Bay from having to travel to Germany this year. On top of that, it’s also been rumored that the New Orleans Saints protected their game against the Packers, which kept Green Bay from a Paris matchup. Under these new rules, it’s possible the green and gold would have been playing overseas in 2026. Due to a lot of different factors, the Packers have only played two games outside of the United States so far. Moving forward, though, it’s going to be harder and harder to keep Green Bay stateside for an entire regular-season slate
This is the part of the offseason where football fans are arrested to counting off days on the calendar. We won’t see the Detroit Lions take the field to play football for some time now, but at least we have the schedule for when it will all eventually happen! For the next week here at Pride of Detroit, we’re going to share our thoughts on some schedule superlatives. We’ll be breaking down a different angle of Detroit ’s schedule every day, each of us on staff offering our unique perspective on what the schedule makers have put together for the Lions. Today’s superlative has us circling the most important game—or stretch of games—for Detroit in 2026. Brandon Knapp: Week 10 through Week 12 Patriots through Thanksgiving. This is the big three games in 12 days that everyone is talking about. The Patriots game will be a good test for the Lions going up against the defending AFC Champions. What I’m more interested in is how will Detroit perform against Tampa Bay after playing overseas. Then, on three days rest, they host the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving. If the Lions can win two out of the three, I’ll take it. Ryan Mathews : Week 1 through Week 5 While the stretch of games from Week 10 through Week 12 is undoubtedly brutal, the Lions need to set the tone long before those games are even played. Detroit must take advantage of the open to their schedule. We’re talking winning a minimum four out of their first five contests to maximize the benefits of having that fourth-place schedule. There’s no shame in losing to the Buffalo Bills in Week 2, but dropping any of the other four games against the New Orleans Saints , New York Jets , Carolina Panthers , or Arizona Cardinals —a group that combined for a 20-48 record in 2025—could prove costly as the schedule ramps up at the end of October. Erik Schlitt: Week 15 through Week 18 The Lions’ closing with three divisional road games over the final four weeks of the regular season means they’ll need to be locked in if they want to win the division. This stretch of games—which also includes a Monday night game against the Giants at Ford Field—should be a critical component in determining whether the Lions can host any postseason games. Jeremy Reisman: Week 15 through Week 18 It has to be how the schedule ends. While the Lions could—and should—get out to a comfortable start given this schedule, everything will come down to how they play within the division on the road. The division, playoff seeding, and the top NFC spot could all be on the line over that final month of the season, setting us up for some very exciting/nerve-wrecking December/January football. Al Karsten: Week 15 through Week 18 The Lions should have an opportunity to reclaim some mojo early, find footing on both sides of the ball, and stack wins. The key, however, will be finishing strong unlike they did last season during a three-game losing streak and four losses in a six-game stretch in the back half of the year. The two biggest blemishes for Detroit last season were they looked lifeless for much of December and they were embarrassed by division rivals Green Bay and Minnesota . Their final four-game stretch in 2026—featuring three divisional road games and a primetime “Monday Night Football” matchup with the Giants—will likely determine their postseason fate and whether they enter the playoffs with momentum. After going a combined 10-2 within the division over the previous two seasons (2023-24) before slipping to 2-4 last year, reclaiming the NFC North crown down the stretch will be critical
First, it was only the Detroit Lions hosting a Thanksgiving game, starting all the way back in 1934. The Dallas Cowboys joined as hosts in 1966, and in 2006, the NFL added a third game to the fourth Thursday in November. In 2023, the NFL added Black Friday to its slate, and this year, it is adding Thanksgiving Eve to the fun as well. Here are the five Thanksgiving 2026 games, with the early skinny on each matchup. 8 p.m. ET on Netflix The Packers will head to warmer weather for a holiday-week showdown with another team expected to be in the playoff picture. Both the Packers and the Rams made the 2025 playoffs, with the Packers losing to the Bears in the Wild Card Round and the Rams falling to the eventual Super Bowl-champion Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. Jordan Love delivered arguably his best season in 2025, tossing 23 touchdowns and just six interceptions, his career low as a starter. It'll be quite the quarterback matchup between Love and 2025 MVP Matthew Stafford , who led the NFL with 4,707 passing yards and 46 passing touchdowns en route to the league's top individual award. NFL 2025 receptions leader Puka Nacua figures to be a focal point of Los Angeles' high-powered attack once again. Packers star EDGE Micah Parsons should be back by the time this game rolls around. He tore his ACL in December and may miss some time to begin the season. 1 p.m. ET on CBS, Paramount+ The Lions host an NFC North rival this Thanksgiving, with the Bears coming to town. Chicago is coming off a breakthrough 11-6 season that included its first division crown since 2018 and its first playoff win since 2010. Meanwhile, the Lions streak of division titles came to an end at two, and at 9-8, Detroit missed the playoffs entirely. Under first-year coach Ben Johnson , Caleb Williams put forward a strong second season and showed a flair for the dramatic with six fourth-quarter comebacks. One of the NFL's best running games, led by 1,000-yard rusher D'Andre Swift , certainly helped. The Bears also led the NFL with 33 turnovers forced, Despite their seasons going in very different directions, Detroit swept Chicago and has won seven of the last eight meetings in this storied rivalry. Jahmyr Gibbs produced over 1,800 yards from scrimmage for the second straight year and made the Pro Bowl for the third time in three seasons, while Amon-Ra St. Brown produced more than 1,400 yards receiving. Detroit has lost eight of its last nine Thanksgiving games, though the lone win in that span came against the Bears in 2024. 4:30 p.m. ET on Fox It's another divisional rivalry for the second part of the Thanksgiving triple-header as the Eagles visit the Cowboys. Dallas has won four straight Thanksgiving games but lost its last game against Philadelphia on Turkey Day, back in 2014. The Cowboys boasted one of the NFL's best offenses in 2025, with Dak Prescott throwing for 30 touchdowns and over 4,500 yards, both George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb exceeding 1,000 receiving yards, and Javonte Williams going for over 1,200 yards on the ground. Still, Dallas finished just 7-9-1 due to a porous defense. The Cowboys dedicated much of their offseason to improving that aspect, bringing in Christian Parker (most recently the Eagles' secondary coach) as defensive coordinator and drafting former Ohio State star Caleb Downs 11th overall. The Eagles became the first team in more than 20 years to repeat as NFC East champions, but the offense was inconsistent all year, and Philadelphia lost in the Wild Card Round. Jalen Hurts , Saquon Barkley , DeVonta Smith and a stellar offensive line return, but it looks like A.J. Brown won't join them. Instead, first-round rookie Makai Lemon will have big shoes to fill immediately. With Jalen Carter and Jonathan Greenard up front and Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean in the secondary, Philadelphia figures to have another strong defense. 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC One of the NFL's best non- divisional rivalries serves as the Thanksgivin

The Chicago Bears were the feel-good story of the 2025 fantasy football season. In the first year under head coach Ben Johnson, Chicago produced multiple fantasy-relevant players, including Caleb Williams (QB6), D’Andre Swift (RB15) and Colston Loveland (TE14). [ Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2026 NFL season ] At wide receiver, things were a bit more spread out with Rome Odunze starting the season hot, the WR3 in fantasy scoring through the first four weeks. He would end up falling off after injuring his foot but DJ Moore and Luther Burden III spent weeks as viable fantasy options. Now, Moore is in Buffalo and Odunze has a clear path to being the No. 1 receiving option in what should be an elite offense in 2026. That is, if the third-year wideout can stay healthy and get back on track. Play 2026 Soccer Pick 'Em with FOX One and make your picks for the world's biggest soccer tournament Matt Harmon was joined by Footballguys’ Dave Kluge on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Forecast to talk the Bears’ receiving room and if Odunze can bounce back this upcoming season. Harmon believes there’s room for all three of the Bears’ top receiving options — Odunze, Burden and Loveland — to all be impactful in 2026. Kluge agrees with the sentiment but what worries him about Odunze is that he could turn into a “sacrificial X-receiver” as Harmon has penned. Kluge mentions some similar situations from Johnson’s time in Detroit when receivers like DJ Chark, Allen Robinson, Josh Reynolds were the X-receiver but weren’t getting the target volume you’d like for fantasy football production. Those players were just opening stuff up for the better receiver (Amon-Ra St. Brown for the Lions). Could that be the case with Odunze opening things up for Burden and Loveland in 2026?
Week 1 : The Chiefs will host the Broncos on “Monday Night Football” to open the season. Week 12: The Chiefs are rumored to play the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving night, per NFL Nerd on X . That was also the case in 2022, when Kansas City took on both the Bengals and the Rams after those two teams faced off in Super Bowl LVI. Outside of division matchups, the Chiefs will have just two rematches: The Bills in Buffalo, although this time, it will be at New Highmark Stadium. Last year, Kansas City lost 28-21 in a Week 9 bout in Orchard Park. The Colts at Arrowhead Stadium is the same situation as last year’s matchup that ended in a 23-20 overtime victory for the Chiefs in Week 12. Before knowing the order and times of Kansas City’s 2026 matchups with these opponents, FanDuel Sportsbook has the Chiefs’ over/under line for regular-season victories at 10.5 wins. The only AFC team with a higher line currently is the Baltimore Ravens , who have the over/under set at 11.5 wins, tied with the Rams for the highest line set by FanDuel . One of the NFL’s oldest rivalries will reportedly be involved in the 2026 Thanksgiving slate. The Bears are set to face the Lions in Detroit on November 26, per a report from NFL reporter Jordan Schultz. The two teams also played on Thanksgiving in 2024 and have met on the holiday five times since the start of the 2014 season. Detroit won both games between the NFC North teams in 2025, which means that Bears head coach Ben Johnson is still looking for his first win against the team that employed him as their offensive coordinator from 2022-2024. The NFL has already announced that the Eagles will be in Dallas for another of this year’s Thanksgiving games. They’ve also announced that the Lions will be in Buffalo for a Thursday night game in Week 2

Ricky Pearsall currently has a clear runway to an absolute, well, shit-ton of volume in 2026. More than likely, he still has some cachet among your league mates due to his first-round draft capital. Adding to the hype are his ties to offensive wiz Kyle Shanahan and apparent franchise quarterback, Brock Purdy. Looks like another week of no Ricky Pearsall. Disappointing because he looked good when healthy. https://t.co/fA1Le4w9Q9 pic.twitter.com/9QEm6d1ogK — Dynasty FF Wolf (@DynastyFFWolf) October 30, 2025 Here’s the thing, though, Pearsall has yet to play anything close to a full season. He missed the first six weeks of his rookie season in 2024 after suffering a gunshot wound in August. Then, last year, he endured separate knee and ankle injuries, causing him to miss another eleven games. The former Florida Gator’s aforementioned value will evaporate should he sustain another injury. Given the perceived opportunity share coming his way this year, managers could be clamoring to get a piece of the Shanahan offense. D’Andre Swift had a bit of a renaissance last year. He finished as the RB16 on a points-per-game basis, averaging a healthy 4.9 yards per carry on 223 totes. Unforeseen, however, was the emergence of seventh-round selection Kyle Monangai. Monangai averaged 4.6 yards per carry while earning a 41.5% Opportunity Share . Furthermore, as the Chicago offense continues to evolve under head coach Ben Johnson, the passing game will become increasingly more prevalent. Furthermore, Swift is 27 years old. Now is the time to see if you can’t squeeze some value out of him. Unlike A.J. Brown, this “new face, new place” player, D.J. Moore, is officially on his new team. In 2025, the former Terp saw his lowest output in targets, receptions, and yards since his rookie year. While it isn’t certain exactly what led to this decrease in production, it became evident that he was expendable in Chicago. Now in Buffalo, Moore is primed to be quarterback Josh Allen’s No. 1 target. The value spike for Moore stemming from his attachment to Allen presents the perfect time to cash out on the nearly 30-year-old wideout. Allen needed a vertical separator who can work well on lvl 3. And he gets……a 29 year old DJ Moore who works best with manufactured targets & touches. https://t.co/6Bf48xOgWP — AngeloFF (@angelo_fantasy) March 5, 2026 Over the course of his career, Moore has been an inconsistent fantasy asset. In his best statistical season, 2023, he still posted five single-digit fantasy performances and three more at just over 10 points. Take advantage of Moore’s perceived value now, before the Bills’ run-heavy offense and his own inconsistencies bring it back down. Josh Downs had career lows across the stat sheet last year, aside from touchdowns, of which he had four. However, Michael Pittman’s departure has many gamers believing that Downs is in line for a massive uptick in target share. While this is, of course, in the range of outcomes, the much more likely scenario is that Downs will be the third, if not fourth, option in this offense. Downs has been a fantasy darling since entering the league in 2023, but he has yet to reach anything close to his ceiling. Get out now, before it becomes apparent he won’t reach it this year either. Chuba Hubbard has served the Panthers well since being thrust into a starting role back in 2023. But last year, he ceded lots of work to Rico Dowdle, who is now with the Pittsburgh Steelers. With Dowdle now gone, you may [... truncated ...]
