Rams get back in the win column with 35-21 victory over Raiders
After a particularly disappointing loss last week and a wave of injuries, the Rams got their groove back against the Raiders on Sunday. Los Angeles defeated Las Vegas 35-21 with a strong overall performance in the desert. The Rams were particularly effective on the ground, and the club would have rushed for over 200 yards if not for kneel-downs at the end of the game. Kyren Williams led the way with 99 yards on 16 carries with a touchdown, while Blake Corum had 93 yards on 17 carries with a TD. Matthew Stafford became the Rams’ all-time leader in touchdown passes with his three first-half scoring strikes on Sunday, surpassing Roman Gabriel. He finished the contest 23-of-29 passing for 195 yards with the three scores and an interception — a pass that went right off of Colby Parkinson’s hands and into the waiting arms of Nakobe Dean. Despite dealing with a calf injury, Puka Nacua caught eight passes for 68 yards with a touchdown while also rushing for 10 yards on two carries. Tight end Davis Allen caught Stanford’s other two touchdowns in the first half. L.A. punted on its first possession, but after that scored four straight touchdowns to take a 28-6 lead into halftime. Things got a little hairy for the Rams in the second half, with a Kyren Williams fumble and the interception preventing the team from scoring more. But after Kirk Cousins’ 15-yard touchdown pass to Ashton Jeanty narrowed the Rams’ lead to 28-18, L.A. put the game away with a 12-play, 70-yard drive that ended on Corum’s 4-yard touchdown run. Cousins finished the game 26-of-44 for 295 yards with two touchdowns. Tre Tucker caught five passes for 103 yards with a TD. Jeanty had just 15 yards rushing on eight carries, though he also had 61 yards receiving on eight catches. Brock Bowers finished with 73 yards on six catches. Now at 3-4, the Rams will be back at SoFi Stadium for a matchup against the cross-town Chargers in Week 8. After starting 3-0, the Raiders have now fallen to 3-4. They will be on the road to face the Jets next Sunday

Davis Allen Takes Advantage of Increased Workload
Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen came into Sunday's game with only six receptions on the year. The 25-year-old came out of nowhere and posted a career game on Sunday. Allen hauled in four of his five targets for 20 yards with two touchdowns during the Week 7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Normally, Allen is an afterthought, but he was able to make the most of his chances during Sunday's win. This big performance could lead to more opportunities for Allen down the road. He might be someone worth stashing in deep leagues, but he won't be an ideal streaming option against the Los Angeles Chargers next weekend

Obviously, being able to play with multiple tight ends has become a big part of our identity, and so it absolutely does." Klare, the 61st overall pick in the second round in April's NFL Draft from Ohio State, has not played a single snap on offense through the first three weeks, but it sounds like that is going to change this weekend with both Ferguson and Colby Parkinson (shoulder) potentially inactive. When the Los Angeles Rams signed tight end Tyler Higbee to a new contract during the offseason, it seemed like they had a plan to incorporate him heavily on offense. After all, he was slated to be a free agent and the Rams already had a very crowded tight end room featuring Colby Parkinson and Terrance Ferguson, so re-signing him indicated that he should have a significant role. However, that wasn't the case in Week 1, as he played just 20% of the offensive snaps despite tight end Davis Allen (concussion) leaving the game early. Higbee did haul in two passes in the loss, but he also lost a fumble. Between the crowded position group, his low volume, and last week's fumble, it will be difficult for Higbee to maintain a role with any sort of fantasy relevance going forward. He can be dropped to waivers in most leagues
