The Rams were close to acquiring A.J. Brown from the Eagles earlier this offseason, and a blockbuster trade could still happen after June 1st. Eagles' cap constraints before June 1st prevented the deal, but waiting allows them to spread the $43 million cap hit over two years. The Rams, looking to maximize Matthew Stafford's remaining years and address receiver depth issues behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, remain interested in Brown
The article discusses the 2026 fantasy value of the Green Bay Packers, highlighting the potential of Christian Watson, Christian Watson, and Jayden Reed
By the end of the 2026 season, after the Dallas Cowboys play in Mexico City, the Green Bay Packers will have played the fewest games internationally of any NFL club. That could be changing in the near future. On Tuesday, the NFL’s owners approved the league to schedule 10 international games moving forward, up from the 8 that are on the books for the 2026 season. Maybe more importantly, though, owners also passed a rule that takes away teams’ ability to block specific home games from playing overseas. Currently, teams have the right to protect two home opponents from being played at an international site. This is significant because it’s been made known that the Detroit Lions wanted to keep their matchup against the Packers in Detroit, eliminating Green Bay from having to travel to Germany this year. On top of that, it’s also been rumored that the New Orleans Saints protected their game against the Packers, which kept Green Bay from a Paris matchup. Under these new rules, it’s possible the green and gold would have been playing overseas in 2026. Due to a lot of different factors, the Packers have only played two games outside of the United States so far. Moving forward, though, it’s going to be harder and harder to keep Green Bay stateside for an entire regular-season slate
A coach’s playcalling tendencies should not, under any circumstances under the sun, be your guiding light in valuing one player over another for fantasy football purposes. My spreadsheets are not certain on much, but they’re certain on this: There are a bunch of factors to consider before you get to playcalling as a determining factor in building a fantasy roster. It is something to consider though, and it can serve as a tiebreaker in the middle or later parts of a draft. In that way playcalling trends — especially where it counts the most (the red zone) — is similar to considering which players ran cold last season. Below is a look at five NFL offenses that were among the league’s pass-heaviest units inside the 20 (red zone) and inside the 10 (green zone), and how that trend might carry over in 2026 and affect players’ touchdown-based upside. I used teams’ pass rate over expected in the red (and green) zones in neutral situations, or when the game is within one score outside the final two minutes of each half. We like touchdowns. We want as many of them as we can get, for they supercharge a player's best-case scenario and serve as deodorant for the less-than-efficient players. RELATED: 2026 Sunday Night Football schedule for NBC and Peacock Neutral pass rate over expected inside the 20: 6.4 percent (1st) Neutral PROE inside the 10: 7.2 percent (4th) Sean McVay has established the dang pass near the goal line during his run with Matthew Stafford under center. Those who drafted Davante Adams last season — and those who faced Adams — know this well. McVay’s commitment to the pass inside the 20-yard line turned a lot of low-volume target days into big statistical outings for Adams. The thing we nerds should remember about a good offense is that even a pass-heavy approach where it counts the most doesn’t leave the team’s running backs without scoring opportunities. The Rams in 2025 had the third most inside-the-five rushing attempts. Kyren Williams ranked fifth among all running backs with 30 inside-the-10 carries while Blake Corum saw 16 green zone opportunities. McVay’s Rams offense is one of the rare units that can produce bountiful touchdown opportunities for both the team’s pass catchers and rushers. If either LA back misses time in 2026, the one left standing should have as much touchdown-based upside as anyone in the NFL. Neutral pass rate over expected inside the 20: 3 percent (3rd) Neutral PROE inside the 10: 0.1 percent (10th) This isn’t a stunner for anyone who has watched Andy Reid get weird with red zone playcalling in recent years. Handing the football to the big running back and letting him trundle into the end zone seems beneath Reid. That’s been excellent for the statistical upside of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ pass catchers (at least it was excellent before the KC became one of the game’s most vanilla and boring offenses). Kansas City last season ranked 20th in inside-the-five rushes, with Kareem Hunt seeing 13 of those 20 attempts and scoring seven times. Meanwhile, Mahomes ranked third in red zone pass attempts before his season-ending knee injury — not at all an unusual spot for him. Chiefs officials and coaches have hinted this offseason that the team might mess around and get more balanced on offense to help Mahomes get back to full health before, I suppose, letting it rip with the pass-heavy checkdown system Reid has deployed over the past few years. If that’s the case, Kenneth Walker III might not see anything close to a big number of high-value green zone rushes in 2026. Walker has been fine as an inside-the-ten runner. Over the past two years he’s turned seven of his 25 green zone chances into touchdowns. The hope for Walker drafters is that the Seahawks ’ refusal to use him near the goal line over the past couple seasons was a unique decision and does not carry over into his first season in Kansas City. Neutral pass rate over expected inside the 20: 2 percent (7th) Neutral PROE ins

I don’t think anyone is saying that Stefon Diggs will sign with the Los Angeles Rams, but it is a possibility. At this stage, Diggs is likely weighing his options with regard to who will pay him, and which team gives Diggs the best chance at winning a Super Bowl? Diggs has still shown he has the ability to help a team, but the Rams already have Puka Nacua and Davantae Adams, so Diggs fit may be a little tough, Of course, is Diggs accepts that some weeks he’ll thrive, while during others he’d be a third or fourth option, the he could fit right in. At this point, it seems like Diggs could sign with someone soon, or he could wait for injuries and opportunities to arise that may not be available now. Either way, the Rams have options, and Diggs might be one of them. Thank you for checking out Turf Show Times and have Monday! “The Chiefs could make sense. The Commanders might, too, since Diggs is from D.C. The Falcons and Rams would also be interesting landing spots,” Breer said. Diggs is up there in age as he prepares to turn 33 in November, but he showed he can still make a big impact after another 1,000-yard season in 2025. The Rams are the least in need of a wide receiver out of those teams considering they have Puka Nacua and Davante Adams , but never rule the Rams out of anything because of Les Snead’s knack for pulling off big moves.“ “The Ravens could be a fit here for Diggs, but I really like him in L.A. alongside Puka Nacua and Davante Adams . The Rams attempted 430 passes out of 11 personnel last season (ninth most in the league), and Diggs is a natural separator who can line up inside or outside. Plus, he has the toughness to work the middle of the field on in-breaking concepts, a key element of coach Sean McVay’s offense. Diggs had 85 receptions last season for the Patriots, which was almost twice as many as their next-closest wide receiver ( Mack Hollins with 46). He would provide an easy boost to the WR room for quarterback Matthew Stafford .“ “ Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is a big fan of preseason joint practices. McVay feels that those sessions against another team mimic enough live-action football within a controlled environment to toughen his squad, while also fine-tuning their operation. In 2025, the Rams participated in joint practices with the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints . The Cowboys, who hold training camp in Oxnard, California, typically play the Rams in the preseason. That will not happen this year. The Rams are set to play the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers , and the Saints in the preseason.“
As OTAs advance, reports from many football pundits have rated the Los Angeles Rams as having one the NFL’s best overall rosters for the 2026 season. L.A. did do a good job of plugging holes in free agency and while the draft didn’t go the route many felt it should, all five draftees have the upside to be contributors with seasoning. General Manager Les Snead may not yet be done, with $25.7mil spending cash in his pocket. Since the union of Snead and Head coach Sean McVay, the Rams have consistently put together top-tier rosters and coached them up to a nine-year, regular season record of 92-52. That’s a 64 percent win rate, solidified by seven trips to the post season and two Super Bowl berths. With 87 players currently under contract for OTAs, here’s a review of the 2026 roster’s lineage and their draft pedigree. First for context, how they all got to L.A.: 77% of Rams are home-grown 3.5% arrived via trade 11.5% signed in preseason free agency 5.5% picked up as in-season free agents 3.5% were waiver claims/poaches And their draft pedigree: 11.5% drafted early in Rounds 1 and 2 22% taken in the mid rounds, 3, 4, and 5 17% selected late, Rounds 6 and 7 49.5% signed as undrafted free agents Players with eight or more starts last season in bold. The Rams have significantly improved their defense in the 2026 offseason, acquiring Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson while losing Cobie Durant and Ahkello Witherspoon. This raises questions about whether their offense, despite top-tier talent, has sufficient depth to support veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, especially considering his age and injury history. The team's investment in tight ends over a third receiver and the offensive line's depth are also points of concern
The Los Angeles Rams have released their 2026 schedule, aiming for another strong season after an MVP performance from Matthew Stafford and a 12-5 record in 2025. Despite a challenging schedule, the Rams have made key offseason moves, including acquiring Trent McDuffie and re-signing Kamren Curl. Tickets are available for their home games at SoFi Stadium
I’m taking a risk by writing this before the official schedule drop, but are you happy with the drop? Did you enjoy the social media video(s)? There was a video right!??! Was there more than one video? Which team handled their schedule release the best? You don’t have to answer any of these questions, but I asked them anyways! I know many fans are not thrilled about all the international games, and I think you are allowed to feel that way. In theory, it’s nice the Rams get their international game out of the way in Week 1, and then they are in the U.S. the rest of the way, baby. The NFL is changing whether we like it or not, and it’s always changing I suppose, but the international games are picking up, so I get why it’s such a hot topic. I don’t think this is a hot take, but the NFL likely wants at least one international game per week (or as many as they can handle), and it’s seemingly headed that direction. It’s all quite interesting. For me, I love the sport (it’s not perfect), I love talking with friends about it, writing about it (how lucky am I?), commenting with fellow commenters here on this site, and I do love fantasy football (I do). So, the international games don’t ruin it for me, but I know for some, it’s lame, and I get it. What does all that mean? I don’t know, but thank you for checking out Turf Show Times, and please comment on whatever you want! Is it Friday yet? It is. “McVay’s Rams are coming off a 12-5 campaign in which they advanced to the NFC Championship Game. Thus, they enter 2026 with a Super Bowl-or-bust outlook. Los Angeles is rife with talent such as wide receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams , running back Kyren Williams , pass rusher Jared Verse and cornerback Trent McDuffie , a prized offseason addition via trade with the Kansas City Chiefs . The 38-year-old Stafford is coming off his best season statistically, having thrown for an NFL- and career-high 46 touchdowns while also leading the league with 4,707 passing yards. Regardless of his age, Stafford possesses some of the best arm talent in the game and so too does his Week 12 counterpart, Love.“ “With nearly 90 hours of news and sports programming every week, CBS LA is uniquely positioned to deliver more Rams coverage than any other media outlet in the market,” said Tim Wieland, regional president and general manager of CBS LA and CBS Colorado. “This partnership is about serving fans, celebrating Los Angeles and extending our shared commitment to the community. We’re proud to once again be the Home of the Rams.” “Maybe I’m getting old in my upper 40s…but the NFL is doing it’s best to not respect it’s fans time and make the league increasingly obtuse. Sunday ritual is great, we give you that time. Greedy though – as you look to make us own multiple streaming accounts, and be actively ready for games 5+ days a week now, moving into holidays and even HOLIDAY ADJACENT time slots. It certainly smells like greed…Problem they have – they grew so big they don’t know where to go. It’s why the pick artists for SB halftime that most fans probably don’t care for, or EVEN KNOW. It’s an effort to draw in. I can tell you, nobody new is coming. Women will watch the halftime gimmick and then gladly look away for 12 months. Minus my lady – she bleeds Blue and Yella:)” -Dr.Ram “Festivus for the rest of us. Two games leaked. Both primetime in the US. I’m thinking about McDonald’s, because I’m loving it ! Keep them primetime games coming. The less times I have to get up in the middle of the night to watch my beloved Rams play live the better.” -RammingSpeed
In something that has grown into a notable event of its own over recent years, the NFL has officially released the schedule for all 32 teams on Thursday, May 14. Though the opponents themselves have been known for a while, Los Angeles Rams fans can start marking their calendars for this fall. The Rams will kick off their season against a familiar foe in an unfamiliar environment: Week 1 will be an international divisional matchup against the San Francisco 49ers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia. But the number on the odometer only goes up from there. With away games scheduled in Denver , Las Vegas , Philadelphia , Tampa Bay and Washington, DC, LA is set to travel 34,847 total miles this season, the second-most of any team behind only the 49ers. Headlined by the reigning NFL MVP under center in Matthew Stafford , Puka Nacua and Davante Adams and a defense bolstered with the additions of All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson -- and of course, one of the brightest offensive minds in the league in Sean McVay -- the Rams are once again in Super Bowl-or-bust mode. Vegas seems to agree, as LA has the best odds (+800) coming off of the NFL Draft to win the Super Bowl this season. You can see the Rams full schedule this season here . Here's a breakdown of the five best, must-watch Rams matchups in the 2026 season: OT Tytus Howard: Traded to Cleveland Browns (previous team: Houston Texans) CB Trent McDuffie: Traded to Los Angeles Rams (previous team: Kansas City Chiefs) RB David Montgomery: Traded to Houston Texans (previous team: Detroit Lions) WR DJ Moore: Traded to Buffalo Bills (previous team: Chicago Bears) OT Tytus Howard: Traded to Cleveland Browns (previous team: Houston Texans) OT Tytus Howard: Traded to Cleveland Browns (previous team: Houston Texans) CB Trent McDuffie: Traded to Los Angeles Rams (previous team: Kansas City Chiefs) RB David Montgomery: Traded to Houston Texans (previous team: Detroit Lions) WR DJ Moore: Traded to Buffalo Bills (previous team: Chicago Bears) The Raiders are one of the more intriguing teams this year. They're coming off a dreadful 3-14 season that landed them the first overall pick in the NFL Draft, which they used to select Indiana quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza, though the Rams will likely be facing Kirk Cousins , whom Las Vegas GM John Spytek brought in to let Mendoza learn and develop behind. Whoever ends up taking snaps for the Raiders by Oct. 25, they'll be surrounded by a talented offense with Brock Bowers at tight end and Ashton Jeanty lining up alongside him in the backfield, and a major investment on the offensive front in All-Pro center and three-time Pro Bowler Tyler Linderbaum . And with new head coach Klint Kubiak running the show, they should be a fun watch even without a true No. 1 receiver. Date and time : Sunday, Oct. 25 at 4:25 ET The Chiefs are coming off a down year, but Patrick Mahomes is always a must-watch. He's reportedly far ahead of schedule in his recovery from his ACL and LCL tear and is targeting a full return to action by Week 1. That and the chess match between McVay and Andy Reid is sure to make for some fun football to watch. Date and time : Thursday, Dec. 3 at 8:15 ET We knew this one a day early thanks to the NFL announcing its Thanksgiving schedule on Wednesday. The Rams won't be playing on the holiday itself, but rather a Thanksgiving Eve game -- the NFL's first -- televised on Netflix against the Packers on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at SoFi Stadium. The Packers have had the Rams' number for a while now; LA 1-10 against them dating back to 2007 with Matt LaFleur holding a 5-0 advantage over McVay in their meetings. Date and time : Sunday, Nov. 25 at 8 ET NFL fans down under are in for a treat as they get to experience one of the most exciting rivalries in the NFL right now to kick off the season. It's LA vs. the Bay, Sean McVay vs. Kyle Shanahan and both Matthew Stafford and Brock Pu

Terrance Ferguson, the Rams' second-year TE, shows promising receiving skills but faces a tough path to a substantial role due to the team's crowded tight end room. With Colby Parkinson, Tyler Higbee, and second-round pick Max Klare also on the roster, Ferguson will likely need injuries to climb the depth chart and secure targets. Even then, star receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams are expected to command the majority of passes from Matthew Stafford. Ferguson is currently ranked as the TE29 in dynasty leagues
For the first time in NFL history, there's going to be a game on Thanksgiving Eve, and it's going to be an NFC showdown with the Los Angeles Rams hosting the Green Bay Packers on Netflix. The matchup marks the first time in the Super Bowl era that the NFL has held a Wednesday game in November. The NFL has been playing games on Thanksgiving for more than 100 years, but this season marks the first time that the league scheduled a game to be played the night before Thanksgiving (Nov. 25). This tradition will likely be sticking around, with Netflix signing a deal to stream the game for the next four seasons (2026-29). With the game being played on a Wednesday, the expectation is that the Rams and Packers will both get a bye in Week 11, as the NFL's scheduling guru, Mike North, revealed last month . "We talked to a handful of clubs about that Wednesday night," North said of Thanksgiving Eve. "It's a scheduling challenge, as you can imagine. You know, Sunday to Thursday is clearly a short week. We don't play Sunday to Wednesday. So, anybody playing that Wednesday of week 12 would have a week 11 bye." The Rams and Packers will kick off at 8 p.m. ET from SoFi Stadium, and the game will be one of five that stream on Netflix this year. Netflix began airing NFL games in 2024, when it landed a Christmas doubleheader. Netflix then streamed two more Christmas games last year, but this season the streaming company will get more games as part of a new contract with the NFL. The Thanksgiving Eve matchup will be one of five games that Netflix will stream in 2026, and that total will include two Rams games. Here's a look at the full list: Week 1: 49ers vs. Rams in Australia Week 12: Packers at Rams (Thanksgiving Eve) Week 16: Christmas Doubleheader (1 p.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. ET) Week 18: Saturday, 1 p.m. ET The teams playing in the other three Netflix games will be revealed when the full schedule comes out on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET . The Saturday game in Week 18 is a new window that the NFL is adding this year. The league started scheduling a Saturday doubleheader during the final week of the season back in 2021 , and now, that final Saturday will be a tripleheader with the early game on Netflix and the final two games on ESPN/ABC. Netflix originally signed a three-year deal with the NFL back in 2024 that allowed the company to stream a Christmas doubleheader each year, but now, there's a new deal in place that will run through the 2029-30 NFL season. As we mentioned, the streaming company will show five games in 2026, but after that, Netflix will stream four games per year for the duration of its deal. Here's the full list of games: Netflix will also be the new home of NFL Honors, the league's annual awards show that airs on the Thursday before the Super Bowl
The NFL will release its regular-season schedule Thursday at 5 p.m. PT. We are looking at five primetime games we’d like to see the Las Vegas Raiders play in this season. For the point of this exercise, we are excluding their divisional opponents. To recap, here are the Raiders’ 2026 opponents. Home Denver Broncos Kansas City Chiefs Los Angeles Chargers Buffalo Bills Miami Dolphins Los Angeles Rams Seattle Seahawks Tennessee Titans Away Denver Broncos Kansas City Chiefs Los Angeles Chargers Arizona Cardinals New England Patriots New York Jets San Francisco 49ers Cleveland Browns New Orleans Saints Here are the five games we’d like to see in primetime: Buffalo Bills : This will be the Bills’ first game in Las Vegas since 2020 and thus, it will be their first game at Allegiant Stadium with fans in the building. We all know opposing fans flock to Las Vegas. Expect a heavy Bills Mafia presence. It would make a compelling Sunday or Monday night game in Vegas. Los Angeles Rams: The Raiders and Rams have had some recent primetime games and this could be a fun night-game matchup. There’s the angle of Rams wide receiver Davante Adams playing against the Raiders for the first time since they traded him two years ago and plenty of aspects that give this game national appeal Seattle Seahawks: We really want this game in primetime and believe there is a good chance of it happening. The defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks will be playing plenty of night games and the matchup against their former offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak will be a fun angle for the networks to play up. It would be a great Monday night tilt. Tennessee Titans: Let’s see the past two No. 1 overall picks, quarterbacks Cam Ward and Fernando Mendoza, face off in primetime. This game screams an October Thursday night matchup. New England Patriots: This is the only matchup on our list that is a Raiders’ road game. The AFC champion Patriots will get a lot of primetime love and this seems like it would be a fun Monday night matchup. It would give Raiders’ part owner Tom Brady to attend if it’s a Monday game. How fun would it be to see Brady enter Foxborough as an opponent? Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams finds himself in a classic sell-high situation this offseason. He was the overall WR6 in half-PPR leagues when healthy (14 games) last season. A significant portion of his fantasy production came from his 14 touchdowns, which tied his highest mark since 2020 in Green Bay. Adams is due for touchdown regression in 2026, even though he plays in a Rams offense that throws the ball near the goal line a lot. As a result, his volume and yardage potential will carry more weight, and we're not super bullish about that. He had a relatively modest 60 catches for 789 yards last year, and he never caught more than six passes in a single game. If the touchdown total scales back, Adams will have extreme difficulty remaining a top-15 receiver with that volume share. At 33 years old, Adams' days of being a top-10 fantasy receiver could be behind him. Yet, managers can capitalize on the fact that he has been a top-12 receiver in each of the last six seasons, using that statistic to sell high and pick up some significant compensation in a dynasty league trade. He has fallen to WR41 in RotoBaller's latest dynasty fantasy football rankings
The 2025 season ended a little over a month ago, but the 2026 season is already officially underway. And with that comes one of the best parts of the offseason: free agency. While much has remained the same for the elite players, we’ve already seen a shake-up across the fantasy landscape, mainly among the RB2/3s and WR2/3s tiers. This is the time of the year when dynasty values can change in a hurry based on where some players sign — or who the teams bring in to compete with others. That’s what makes this stretch of the offseason so fun. We’re reacting to the news and contract figures while trying to figure out what actually matters for fantasy football. Who’s set to take a leap next season? Which players took a hit because of a trade or a rough landing spot? We’re starting with the running backs and wide receivers in this article; here are the biggest winners and losers from free agency so far. Be sure to check back for the quarterback and tight end winners and losers tomorrow! PlayerProfiler is home to award-winning dynasty rankings and tools. Our Dynasty Deluxe package includes complete Dynasty Rankings, Rookie Rankings, Trade Analyzer, Draft Planner, Mock Drafts, and more. Check it out . Let’s get the obvious one out of the way, shall we? What a landing spot for the reigning Super Bowl MVP. Kenneth Walker cashes in after a brilliant playoff run, getting a three-year deal worth up to $43.05 million and $28.7 million guaranteed. With that kind of moola, Walker should get all the touches he can handle. The Chiefs will likely lean on him early in the season as Patrick Mahomes works his way back from a torn ACL. Kenneth Walker ‘s 2025 EPX Over the final six weeks of 2025, including the playoffs, the 25-year-old former Michigan State Spartan played like a man possessed. He racked up 771 total yards, caught 18 passes, and scored five touchdowns. Now, he’s finally free of Zach Charbonnet and gets to operate as the lead back in Andy Reid’s offense. As long as the workload matches the contract, Walker will be an RB1 for fantasy purposes. The veteran back decided to leave his long-time teammate, Trevor Lawrence — whom he’s played with since 2018 at Clemson — and return to his home state of Louisiana. Already 27 years old, I assumed Travis Etienne would get a modest two- or three-year deal. Instead, the Saints forked over a four-year, $52 million contract. Quite the commitment, one that will boost his dynasty stock in the short-term. Last year, Etienne totaled 1,399 yards and scored a career-best 13 times, good for 14.9 fantasy points per game (RB13). Now he steps in as the main back in Kellen Moore ‘s fast-paced offense, gets to play his home games indoors, and faces NFC South defenses six times a year. Big come-up for Etienne, who will be a high-end RB2 with potential for more in fantasy going forward. With Etienne leaving town, Bhayshul Tuten just became the most important guy in Jacksonville’s RB room…for now. While the Jaguars avoided the bigger names in free agency, they did sign Chris Rodriguez Jr. to a two-year contract. Rodriguez is a bigger back, who played for Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen at Kentucky — he should be involved to a degree. How much? We’ll find out. Regardless, the arrow is pointing up for Tuten, who averaged 0.91 fantasy points per opportunity (RB16) and scored seven touchdowns as a rookie. If he gets the majority of the work in Coen’s run game next year, he could pay major dividends. Right now, Tuten’s current average draft position (ADP) is RB30 on FFPC and RB36 on Underdog. Each is an appealing price if his role holds for 2026. It took all of about 90 seconds after free agency started for Adam Schefter to report that Alec Pierce was getting the largest free-agent WR contract in NFL history and returning to the Colts. Sounds like Pierce and his team got a lot of “legal tampering” done during that time, and it paid off. Alec Pierce ‘s Advanced Metrics All kidding aside, not only did Pierce [... truncated ...]
