Jalen Coker is a prime buy-low dynasty target due to his potential for a breakout year
This offseason, there was less speculation about Matthew Stafford’s future and retirement timeline than in previous years, and that could become more of a trend than an outlier despite him being the second-oldest expected starter in the NFL at age 38. Rams fans could be looking forward to at least four more years of Stafford being the oldest starting quarterback in the league. The reasons for him playing until he’s 40 and beyond are growing faster than the grey hairs in his beard. Retirement is a personal decision and could have nothing to do with an ability to play football or make money. Aaron Donald recently emphasized that he always planned to retire after eight seasons and was only enticed to return for two more years because of the Super Bowl. Stafford may want to retire if he wins a second Super Bowl. Or he might want to retire if L.A. does not win the Super Bowl this year. Only he knows the answer. But if he wants to play five more years, it’s hard to believe he lacks the ability to do it.. NFL teams drafted Bryce Young and Cam Ward with the first overall pick in 2023 and 2025 respectively, under the assumption that those quarterbacks would soon become the faces of the NFL. Well, Young and Ward combined to throw 38 touchdown passes in 2025, which is nine fewer than Stafford’s 46 touchdowns en route to winning MVP and also leading the league in passing yards. Ward was only a rookie last year and was not surrounded by much talent. Young is a limited passer who has not proven he can lead a high volume offense, but did take the Panthers to the playoffs at age 24. However, these aren’t outliers. These are examples of a frightening trend of incoming first round quarterbacks proving to be worse than expectations: *benched or in a QB competition in 2026 2019 draft: Kyler Murray*, Daniel Jones 2020 draft: Joe Burrow , Tua Tagovailoa*, Justin Herbert , Jordan Love 2021 draft: Trevor Lawrence , Zach Wilson*, Trey Lance*, Justin Fields*, Mac Jones * 2022 draft: Kenny Pickett * 2023 draft: Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud , Anthony Richardson* 2024 draft: Caleb Williams , Jayden Daniels , Drake Maye , Michael Penix , JJ McCarthy*, Bo Nix 2025 draft: Cam Ward, Jaxson Dart Even in that group of 23 quarterbacks, of the 14 expected starters in Week 1, at least half have a lot to prove before they’re expected to be starters in 2027 and 2028. We saw the lack of belief the league has in young starters late last season when the Indianapolis Colts favored 44-year-old Philip Rivers over any other options that could have been available. His historically-bad athletic limitations were outweighed by the Colts belief in his football IQ and experience. Matthew Stafford is six years younger than Rivers was last season. It’s not that a team would want a 44-year-old quarterback with a weak arm, but this could imply that a 41 or 42-year-old Stafford is far better than the average 25-year-old quarterback. Four of the top-five quarterbacks in passing yards last season were 28 and older: Sam Darnold was the second-youngest at 28 Jared Goff was 31 Dak Prescott was 32 Stafford was 37 Maye was the only outlier and he was a hair from winning MVP. But he was not within a hair of Stafford’s actual value. No offense to Maye and he could be on a trajectory to be unbelievably good next season or 2027, but he was abysmally bad in the playoffs in spite of the Patriots reaching the Super Bowl. Maye was overrated last season and similar to Stroud in 2023, his season-long stats were considerably uplifted by having two or three dominant performances against the worst teams in the league. Maye had 5 touchdowns against the Jets, two more scores than he had in any other game. The NFL’s hope for quarterbacks like Caleb Williams and Maye “proving” that they are about to take over the league because of the seasons and playoff runs they had in 2025 will have to go a lot better than Jayden Daniels’ second season or Stroud’s second season, or they risk becoming [... truncated ...]
This group of articles will take a look at the newly released Panthers schedule, review the opponents, and take our best guess at predicting the outcomes of each game. Here, we’re starting with the first “quarter” of the schedule, the first four games before the Week 5 bye. For the first time since the 2022 season, the Carolina Panthers are starting the regular season in the friendly confines of Bank of America Stadium. This time, they’ll be hosting the newly crowned Kings of the North, the Chicago Bears. After an 11-6 campaign that won them the division, the Bears retooled their roster quite a bit this offseason. They traded DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills , center Drew Dalman unexpectedly retired, Tremaine Edmunds was a cap casualty, and both safeties Jaquan Brisker and Kevin Byard both left in free agency. To replace the talent lost, the Bears brought in Garrett Bradbury and Joe Thuney to upgrade the offensive line, drafted CSR draft crush Dillon Thieneman to help in the defensive backfield, and signed Coby Bryant and Devin Bush in free agency. This game also has the “Bryce Young vs Caleb Williams” intrigue as the Panthers trading up for Bryce Young handed the Bears Caleb Williams the following year. With another year under Ben Johnson, Williams and the young pass catching trio of Odunze, Loveland, and Burden should take another step forward this season. The defense will be the main area of concern due to the massive turnover, especially in the back seven. They also don’t have much consistent pass rush outside of Montez Sweat . With Brad Idzik taking over the play calling this season for the Panthers offense, this will be a good litmus test with some inevitable growing pains. Final: Bears 27 – Panthers 24 The Panthers first road game is also their first divisional game this season as the I-85 rivalry is renewed early in the year. The Falcons fired their coach and brought in Kevin Stefanski to be the head coach while also adding franchise legend Matt Ryan as President of Football Operations. This first offseason has been an interesting one for the new leadership group, as the team parted ways with Kirk Cousins and brought in Tua Tagovailoa to compete with the rehabbing Michael Penix at quarterback. Offensive lineman Kaleb McGary retired, and thorn-in-the-Panthers-sides Darnell Mooney was released. The Falcons Jawaan Taylor at offensive tackle and Jahan Dotson and Zachariah Branch as depth receiving options. They also drafted AJ Terrell’s little brother Avieon, adding to an already very good defensive secondary that includes Jesse Bates III and Xavier Watts . The offensive playmaker trio of Bijan Robinson , Drake London , and Kyle Pitts are still together for one more season after Pitts got the franchise tag. With the lack of a first round pick this year and the uncertain future of last year’s first rounder James Pearce Jr , the top end talent — especially on defense — could be lacking. I think Bryce Young and the Panthers take advantage of that and cancel out the new coach bump that often happens. Final: Panthers 31 – Falcons 17 The Browns are another team with a new head coach in Todd Monken. Monken will likely be mostly hands-off with the already elite defense the Browns have. Led by Myles Garrett , that unit has been one of the best in the league for several seasons. Monken was brought in to fix the anemic offense. The Browns completely overhauled their offensive line, bringing in Elgton Jenkins , Zion Johnson , and Spencer Fano. While they lost tight end David Njoku , they added multiple rookie receivers (KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston) and still have Harold Fannin Jr at the tight end position. They even added to their insanely good defense by signing Quincy Williams . With an offensive head coach and potentially much improved offensive line, the Browns might actually have a respectable offense. The most important position, however, is their biggest question by far: quarterback. Cleveland is going into camp with a [... truncated ...]

After an impressive 6-2 start, Baker Mayfield ’s club finished the year 8-9 following a rough and tumble 2-7 stretch to close the campaign and barely miss the postseason even though they still beat their NFC South rival and eventual playoff team Carolina Panthers in Week 18. Midway through the painful collapse, head coach Todd Bowles told the team “It’s inexcusable…it was in-f—ing-excusable, and there’s no f—ing answer for it. No excuse for it. That’s what you tell them in the locker room. Look in the f—ing mirror.” Tough words and hopefully the last time Bowles will have to utter them. Now that the 2026 NFL schedule has officially dropped, we know who the Bucs will face (and when) this year on their road to redemption. Notable opponents set to visit them at their home Raymond James Stadium come fall include Kyler Murray ’s Minnesota Vikings (Sept. 27), Jordan Love ’s Green Bay Packers (Oct. 4), T.J. Watt ’s Pittsburgh Steelers (Oct. 18), Justin Herbert ’s Los Angeles Chargers (Dec. 6) and Matthew Stafford ’s Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Jan. 3 in the last home game of the season. They’ll also go head-to-head with Bryce Young ’s Carolina Panthers on Monday, Nov. 30 in what should surely be a tense rematch after their down-to-the-wire season finale. And, even though they’ve had a rough offseason — Mike Evans bolted and Lavonte David retired — general manager Jason Licht has stayed busy to make sure Bowles has the best team possible to put on the field this year. Notable signings include linebacker Alex Anzalone , tight end Cade Otten, running back Kenneth Gainwell , defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson and linebacker Al-Quadin Muhammad . They join No. 15 pick Rueben Bain Jr. and No. 46 Josiah Trotter as well as returning standouts like play-caller Mayfield, safety Antoine Winfield Jr. , offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs , wideout Chris Godwin Jr. and defensive tackle Vita Vea. Featured pricing is subject to change. The NFC South almost belonged to the Atlanta Falcons in 2025. To end the season, Kirk Cousins stepped up in Michael Penix Jr.’s absence and helped the club cobble together a four-game win streak to tie the Panthers and Buccaneers at 8-9. Unfortunately, due to a tiebreaker, Carolina won the division and sent Atlanta packing for the offseason. Once the season officially wrapped, the franchise went into rebuild mode and dumped head coach Raheem Morris for former Browns field general Kevin Stefanski. Stefanski, 44, joins Falcons nucleus members Michael Penix Jr., Bijan Robinson , Chris Lindstrom , Drake London and Jesse Bates III along with head-turning offseason acquisitions Brian Robinson Jr. , Tua Tagovailoa , Jahan Dotson , Jake Bailey and Austin Hooper as well as standout second round draft pick Avieon Terrell. And, while they look great on paper and have the fifth-easiest schedule of any NFL team in ’26 (based on last year’s winning percentages), don’t start daydreaming of a playoff berth banner hanging from the rafters just yet. Penix Jr. and the Dirty Birds will really have to show up this year given how many perennial contenders — and 2025 under-performers but often great teams — are heading to Mercedes-Benz Stadium come September. Thanks to the NFL schedule rollout, we know the club will have to face Lamar Jackson ’s Baltimore Ravens (Oct. 11), Caleb Williams Chicago Bears (Oct. 18), Brock Purdy ’s San Francisco 49ers (Oct. 25), Patrick Mahomes ’ Kansas City Chiefs (Nov. 15) and Jared Goff ’s Detroit Lions (Dec. 6) at home. Of course, they’ll meet up with the Bryce Young’s Carolina Panthers (Sept. 20) and Baker Mayfield ’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Dec. 27), too. Thus, Stefanski’s squad will need all the help it can get from the Falcons faithful. If you want to root yourself hoarse for the Dirty Birds live, tickets are available for all eight Atlanta Falcons 2026 home games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on SeatGeek. After a season dominated by headlines about who would start at quarterback, new Head Coach Todd Monken has yet to name DeShaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders (or dark horse Dillon Gabriel ) as his first stringer. “I’m not ready to say that yet,” Monken said when asked if Sanders, who finished 2025 with a 3-4 record in games he started, had the edge. Regardless of that pesky roster decision, Cleveland does have one thing working in their favor: They’ve been blessed with the NFL’s easiest schedule in 2026. Yahoo! Sports reports that out of all 32 teams, their strength of schedule is the weakest, with their opponents tallying a collective .429 winning percentage in ’25. Not all of their opponents are slouches, though. Just a few of the biggest home games going down at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field include showdowns with competitive teams like Bryce Young ’s Carolina Panthers (Sept. 27), T.J. Watt ’s Pittsburgh Steelers (Oct. 1), Lamar Jackson ’s Baltimore Ravens (Oct. 18), C.J. Stroud ’s Houston Texans (Nov. 15) and Daniel Jones ’ Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027, which is the last home game of the season. Throw in the fact that the franchise signed Zion Johnson , Elgton Jenkins , Kalia Davis , Quincy Williams and Jack Stoll and had an exceptional draft, scooping up offensive tackle Spencer Fano and wideouts KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston and there’s downright reason for optimism in Cleveland. All that’s missing now is you. Even though Bryce Young and co. went 8-9 and lost in Week 18 to their division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers , the scrappy team advanced to the postseason. Once there, their odd duck fairytale season came to a screeching halt after they were bested by the Los Angeles Rams 34-31 in the NFC Wild Card Round, which also happened to be the Panthers’ first playoff appearance since January 2018. “When we came here as a staff, our whole goal was to create a brand of football that we can be proud of. And that’s what we’re doing,” head coach Dave Canales said in a postgame press conference. “We’re building something from the ground up—from the basics, the fundamentals and the technique and all that and trying to build it the right way.” And, now, that the NFL has rolled out their 2026 schedule, we know who Canales’ club will face next season. Just a few of the most notable contests heading to Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium include Caleb Williams ’ Chicago Bears (Sept. 13), Jared Goff ’s Detroit Lions (Oct. 4), Bo Nix’s Denver Broncos (Nov. 8), Lamar Jackson ’s Baltimore Ravens (Nov. 22) and Sam Darnold ’s Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks (Jan. 3, 2027). Over the course of the offseason, general manager Dan Morgan got to work to make sure the team was up for the challenge. Notable signings include disruptive linebacker Jaelan Phillips , veteran backup quarterback Kenny Pickett , solid center Luke Fortner , journeyman offensive tackle Stone Forsythe and weapon-like wideout John Metchie III . After starting the year 2-10, Tyler Shough and the New Orleans Saints finished 2025 strong winning four of their last five games to wrap the year with a 6-11 record. “We feel great with Tyler,” head coach Kellen Moore said at the end of the 2025 season. “Tyler has done an awesome job through this entire process, he’s gotten a ton better, taken advantage of a bunch of opportunities and we’re excited to have a full offseason to build on.” To make sure Shough has the proper support, Kellen Moore’s scrappy club brought in high-profile free agents like versatile running back Travis Etienne Jr. , powerful guard David Edwards, gritty linebacker Kaden Elliss , depth defensive tackle John Ridgeway III and insurance tight end Noah Fant . Exciting draft picks Jordyn Tyson, Christen Miller, Oscar Delp , Jeremiah Wright and Bryce Lance round out the offseason shakeup. They’ll join the returning Shough, Bryan Bresee , Kool-Aid McKinstry , Demario Davis and Carl Granderson on the re-tooled roster. Best of all, Yahoo! Courtesy of winning the NFC South last season, the Carolina Panthers are now facing the toughest schedule in their division for the 2026 season. FanDuel is currently offering odds on the 2026 NFC Champion and four of the top six teams, per those odds, are on Carolinas schedule. Those are the three teams who won the other NFC divisions last year and the Green Bay Packers . The Panthers (+3300) are the twelfth most likely team to win the NFC South by these odds. The Washington Commanders (+2500), the Dallas Cowboys (+1100), the San Francisco 49ers (+800), and the Seattle Seahawks (+500) are the only teams in the top 11 who aren’t on Carolinas schedule. There are meager brightsides to the home/road split on this schedule, despite traveling the fewest miles of any team this season. The fact of the matter is that this is the tenth hardest schedule in the NFL, by 2025 winning percentage of opponents. For comparison, the New Orleans Saints have the second easiest, the Atlanta Falcons have the fourth easiest, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the twelfth easiest. Winning the NFC South again will be a true test of both Bryce Young and Dave Canales’ progress. Week 1: Carolina Panthers vs Chicago Bears , September 13th at 1:00 PM – L A home opener and another revenge game against the Bears? A lot of feelings will be running through Bank of America stadium at the start of the season and none of those will be buoyed by Young and Canales’ abysmal track record in openers. I might change my mind on this one if Canales doesn’t spend the entire preseason trying to hide the field from Young and the team shows signs of life. Feels like a tall order. Week 2: Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons, September 20th at 1:00 PM – W Atlanta Bryce makes a rare early season appearance to instill hope in a second contract with the Falcons in 2028. Week 3: Carolina Panthers at Cleveland Browns , September 27th at 1:00 PM – L The Browns defense proves too much on the road. I have no idea who is playing quarterback for the Browns in Week 3, but I’m afraid that may not matter too much against the Panthers. Week 4: Carolina Panthers vs Detroit Lions , October 4th on Sunday Night Football – W I’m not convinced the Lions are trending upwards. The Panthers lean back into a run first offense and limit mistakes in a close home win. A triumph on national television and right before a bye feels like the start of something. Week 5: BYE Week 6: Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles , October 18th at 1:00 PM – W Carolina gets a rematch from their promising 2024 loss and, with a greatly improved offense and defense, pull out the upset to improve to 3-2. Hope is in the air. Week 7: Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers, October 25th at 1:00 PM – L Division games are weird, part I. Week 8: Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers, October 29th on Thursday Night Football – L Monroe Freeling vs Micah Parsons doesn’t feel like a favorable match up just yet. The Panthers drop below .500 since this game is before Toyotathon. Week 9: Carolina Panthers vs Denver Broncos , November 8th at 1:00 PM – W The Broncos may be ascendant, but I cannot in good conscience predict success for Sean Payton. I’m not saying I’d take a 1-16 season if the Panthers beat the Broncos, I’m just saying if they have to go 1-16 that this is one of the top games I’d want to be the one. Week 10: Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints, November 15th at 1:00 PM – L Division game are weird, part II. Week 11: Carolina Panthers vs Baltimore Ravens , November 22nd at 1:00 PM – L Nobody knows what to make of a Harbaugh-less Ravens, but their roster remains stacked. If Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry are healthy then this is as confident an L as I can predict. Week 12: Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, November 30th on Monday Night Football – L Swept by the Bucs hurts after being unable to beat them and claim the NFC South crown outright in Week 18 last season. This scheduling includes multiple games on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and traditional Sunday and Monday night slots, resulting in nine games being allocated to the Sunday afternoon package
We crossed another milestone on the march back to football this fall with NFL teams announcing their full schedules on Thursday night. We’ll all be locked into our favorite teams and watching the national games, but some really fascinating storylines will come out of this 2026 slate, stories the league absolutely did not intentionally generate for our amusement. If you’re looking to set up a calendar of some must-watch games when the season rolls around, we’ve got you covered. This is a game with both a fascinating narrative and really interesting implications for the rest of the season. The top-down view is that this represents a battle between two quarterbacks involved in a pseudo-trade for each other. Carolina traded up in 2023 to take Bryce Young with the No. 1 overall pick in 2023, and the result of that was Chicago getting the No. 1 overall pick in 2024, which they used to take Caleb Williams. We were deprived of seeing the head-to-head in 2024 as the game came when Andy Dalton was starting for the Panthers and before Young’s ascension. Now we get to see it. Far more importantly, this is a game between the winners of the NFC North and NFC South, respectively, and it comes to kick off the season. It represents a great litmus test to see where these organizations are at, with Chicago trading away D.J. Moore , losing some free agents, but bolstering their secondary even more. Meanwhile the Panthers are boasting a fully-revamped defense around huge free agent signings in Jaelan Phillips and Devin Lloyd . This is one of those games either team would probably be okay losing, but look back on Week 1 in January and it could come back to haunt them. In recent years we’ve exported the worst football the NFL has to offer to England, in what I can presume is residual revenge for taxation without representation. That changes in 2026, because London is actually getting a banger a third of the way into the season. The AFC South is one of the most competitive divisions in football, and at the top of the heap are the Texans and Jags. Not only does that make this game good enough in its own right, but this is also a matchup that features one of the NFL’s best young offensive minds in Jacksonville coach Liam Coen, against one of the scariest defenses in the league, courtesy of DeMeco Ryans . It’s not often that we can recommend getting up early to catch the international game, but this is a case where it’s worth watching football early in the morning. The fact that the NFL is making the Bears play divisional games on both Thanksgiving and Christmas is proof that the league just hates families in Chicago. Anyway, this game will rock. The NFC North is shaping up to be a three-way race between the Bears, Lions, and Packers — making this late December game likely critical for the playoff picture. Ben Johnson had Chicago take massive strides in his first year as head coach, which makes this be the year the team should take another step forward. Meanwhile the Packers are just looking to solidify this era as a success, and that means making it deeper into the playoffs. Also, we’re going to get to watch Micah Parsons try and track down Caleb Williams, and that’s just fun. The Rams are going to be one of the best teams in the NFC, we already know that. The Giants should be pulling themselves out of the doldrums to become a real threat in the NFC East. There is no better way to judge the improvement of the Giants than this game, set to take place in Week 2. It is decidedly too early to think of the Harbaugh-led Giants as a serious threat, but the pass rush they’re bringing to the table is prolific, and it will be fun to see how much havoc they can cause against Matthew Stafford . This will go a lot of the way to telling us whether or not the Giants are for real, and it happens on national TV. Any time you have a No. 1 overall pick making his debut it’s a big deal, but as it stands all signs are pointing to that not happening in Week 1. [... truncated ...]
The Los Angeles Rams are favored to win Super Bowl LXI at +800, followed by the Seattle Seahawks at +950. The Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills are at 10-1, while the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Philadelphia Eagles are at 15-1. Teams with the longest odds include the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins at 250-1. The Seattle Seahawks defied historical odds by winning Super Bowl 60 with 60-1 preseason odds
The Bears were one of the teams under consideration for a season-opening trip to Seattle, but the NFL is reportedly going with a Super Bowl rematch so the defending NFC North champs will be heading elsewhere. It will still be a matchup of two teams coming off of playoff berths. The Bears will be in Charlotte to face the Panthers, according to a report from Jordan Schultz. With the Sunday night and Monday night games for that week already announced, the game will be played on Sunday afternoon. There will always be a link between the two clubs as the Panthers traded with the Bears to acquire the first overall pick in 2023 and select quarterback Bryce Young. The Panthers wound up with the worst record in the league after Young’s rough rookie season, but the first overall pick belonged to the Bears and they used it to acquire quarterback Caleb Williams

Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan, the 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year, is now ranked WR9 in dynasty leagues after a 70-catch, 1,014-yard, 7-touchdown rookie season. Despite a weak supporting cast, McMillan achieved a 20%+ target share in 14 games. With few additions at receiver and tight end, McMillan is expected to maintain a heavy workload, and a developing connection with QB Bryce Young could solidify his WR1 status for dynasty teams
Panthers GM Dan Morgan stated that a long-term contract for quarterback Bryce Young is under discussion, with plans to finalize it "at the right time."
We are hip-deep in #rookieszn! With the combine now behind us, coaches and scouts from around the league are cranking up the volume on their rookie evaluations. The same is true for ardent dynasty fantasy football managers. Most rookie drafts occur shortly after the NFL Draft, in either May or early June. As we parse through combine performances and await landing spots determined in April in Pittsburgh, our rankings and values for some of these players will fluctuate. However, through extensive research and film study, we can get a good sense of where each of these guys should go in a superflex rookie draft. We’ve got a head start, as there is already a relatively established top 5 to be picked apart ad nauseam. Anyhoo, here is how I’m sizing up the early third of the first round, keeping in mind we are only in early March. PlayerProfiler is home to award-winning dynasty rankings and tools. Jeremiyah Love ‘s Athletic Profile Let’s not get cute here. Jeremiyah Love is the number one option across all formats. You’ll have a tough time finding any discrepancies in his production profile toting the rock. Love totaled 2.497 yards on the ground in his last two years at Notre Dame, leading the conference in each. He also set the pace in efficiency, maintaining an impressive 6.9 yards per carry (YPC) over those same two years. Furthermore, he’s shown himself to be a capable receiver. In college, however, the volume was lacking. He caught 28 and 27 balls in 2024 and ’25, respectively, for a total of 594 yards. At the Combine in Indy, Love almost certainly silenced whatever critics there may have been. He posted an impressive 4.36 40-yard dash time and was quick and fluid through his drills. The former golden-domer then went further and put in some more work participating in receiving drills. There, he showed some smooth hips and nice hands, cementing his profile as a “do-it-all” back. Maybe you’re some years away from really contending in your league. If this is the case, you might be interested in trying to trade this pick to a contender who could seemingly really capitalize on Love’s production over the course of his rookie deal. In most cases, I would advise against this, as Love’s value will almost certainly increase once he takes the field in the NFL. Malik Nabers or Drake London straight up for this year’s 1.01 would get my attention. Otherwise, unless the other side is willing to really knock my socks off with a “Godfather” deal (you know, the kind you can’t refuse), I’m inclined to take the talent. You can decide later to cash in on his value if that’s the route you wish to take. After the 1.01, there is room for debate. With the second pick, quarterback-needy teams could feel compelled to take Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza . Depending on your team’s construction and your personal style (risk-averse, in this case), Mendoza could be a fine pick. My only hang-up with taking him second overall is that he will very likely be a better NFL quarterback than a high-end fantasy option. As many dynasty leagues start three wide receivers with two or three flex spots, the wide receiver position is extremely important, even in superflex. For this reason, I’m taking my favorite of the consensus top three wideouts of this class with this pick. jordyn tyson is so talented. man/zone. it doesn’t matter. throw it to #0 pic.twitter.com/sh85cqGKRq — Ray G (@RayGQue) September 14, 2025 Jordyn Tyson did not participate in the on-field drills at the Combine, but he did turn some heads with his performance on the Bench Press. He came up just one rep shy of tying the record for his position, putting up 26 reps of 225 lbs. More importantly, he came out of Indy with a clean medical report, according to a league source . The 2026 Panini Senior Bowl has wrapped, and once again, Mobile delivered exactly what NFL evaluators love, which is a week where the pads did the talking. Between three days of physical, competitive practices and a defense-heavy game on Saturday, several prospects made themselves real money while others walked away with more questions than answers. With over 100 draft hopefuls on the field, the separation between “pro-ready,” “needs development,” and “stock falling” became pretty obvious. Below are the three biggest winners and three biggest losers from the week. PlayerProfiler is home to award-winning dynasty rankings and tools. Our Dynasty Deluxe package includes complete Dynasty Rankings, Rookie Rankings, Trade Analyzer, Draft Planner, Mock Drafts, and more. Check it out . If there was one player who walked into Mobile with something to prove and walked out looking like he owned the place, it was Clemson’s T.J. Parker . His stock had dipped this past season after his sack production fell off, but the Senior Bowl gave him the perfect platform to remind scouts who he really is, and he took full advantage. Parker consistently embarrassed offensive tackles in one-on-ones. His long arms were his main weapon all week, but more importantly, he showed a deeper bag than anyone expected. He showed off his inside counters, rip-through finishes, and even some surprising bend around the arc. He also set a strong edge against the run and carried himself like a player who knew he had first-round talent and just needed to show it again. By the time practice ended on Thursday, scouts were openly calling him one of the best players in Mobile. In a defensive-heavy class, Parker did enough to justify why he was considered and should continue to be considered a first-round pick. Jacob Rodriguez entered the week with production in 2025 that made him a fascinating linebacker prospect. With awards, turnovers, and Heisman votes on his resume, J-Rod was on a lot of radars. Mobile answered whether the tape was real … spoiler alert: It was. Rodriguez was arguably the most consistent defender of the entire week. His processing speed stood out immediately. He beat running backs to landmarks and linemen to the point of attack. He also made one of the best individual practice plays of the week when he punched out a forced fumble, and later hauled in a diving interception. Every rep looked like a veteran NFL linebacker reading the game two beats ahead of everyone else. Coaches and scouts couldn’t stop talking about his football IQ, and teammates gravitated toward him during drills. He entered the week in that Round 3 linebacker cluster, now he leaves looking like one of the safest Day 2 picks on the board and a future Mike linebacker with real NFL potential. Among a mediocre at best receiver group, Malachi Fields managed to look like he belonged in his own category. His size jumps off the field at 6’4″, 218, but what separated him was how well he played through contact and how natural he looked at the catch point. Press coverage didn’t bother him. Physical corners didn’t move him. He was simply the most reliable target in Mobile. Fields made multiple highlight plays throughout the week, including the catch everyone in Mobile was talking about , a deep, over-the-shoulder “moon ball” from Taylen Green where he tracked it like a centerfielder. Any concerns about his hand size evaporated instantly because he didn’t drop a thing all week. For a quarterback in a thin class, the Senior Bowl can be a gift. For Sawyer Robertson , however, it became a harsh spotlight. Robertson struggled to find rhythm in practice. His timing on outbreaking routes was inconsistent, and his ball placement rarely looked comfortable. His arm strength is NFL-caliber, but his operation speed and accuracy lagged behind the rest of the group. Robertson’s performance in the game didn’t help either. He had just one completion on five attempts and an interception that capped a tou [... truncated ...]
