The Cleveland Browns are making several roster moves and signaling a potential return for Deshaun Watson as QB1. Andrew Berry has improved the roster, particularly at WR, which could put Cedric Tillman on the chopping block. Rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston is showing promise, and the Browns are optimistic about the pairing of KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston from the 2026 draft. Additionally, new minority owners with stakes in other teams are joining the Browns
Jeremiyah Love and Fernando Mendoza are emerging as early favorites for NFL Rookie of the Year, with odds of +430. Love, a RB drafted by the Arizona Cardinals, showed explosive speed and production in college. Mendoza, a QB joining the Las Vegas Raiders, brings championship and Heisman hype. Carnell Tate, a WR for the Tennessee Titans, is also noted for his route-running ability
The Cleveland Browns returned to the practice fields in Berea on Tuesday for OTAs . While there is no media presence for the first practice, we will have video, pictures, and interviews on Wednesday. Excitement continues to build around the team with rookie WRs KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston getting attention , including Boston’s route tree being compared to one of the best in the game . As always with GM Andrew Berry, the Browns roster remains in flux. At rookie minicamp, the first under new HC Todd Monken, Cleveland had 25 tryout players in Berea . Tuesday, the Browns roster saw six changes, including two of those tryout players signing to the 90-man roster: Signed WR Aaron Anderson LB Reid Carrico DE Markees Watts Anderson and Carrico were among the tryout players at rookie camp, while Watts is entering his fourth season after spending the last three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last season, Watts played in 15 games, had nine tackles, one QB hit, and a half sack. He played just 26 snaps on defense, but 235 on special teams. Waived DT Bernard Gooden TE Caden Prieskorn WR Isaiah Wooden Gooden was signed as an undrafted free agent shortly after the NFL draft. Prieskorn and Wooden signed future/reserve contracts after the 2025 season ended

The Cleveland Browns are always entertaining during training camp, but this summer should be particularly interesting. Offensive line coach George Warhop will be working to get up to five new starters, headlined by first-round draft pick Spencer Fano, up to speed before the start of the regular season. Wide receivers coach Christian Jones will be doing the same with rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston , while also working on the potential of second-year player Isaiah Bond to help take some of the pressure off erratic veteran Jerry Jeudy . Finally, head coach Todd Monken and offensive coordinator Travis Switzer have to figure out what to do with one of the most malodorous quarterback rooms in the NFL, where a once seemingly unbelievable outcome may become reality . It will not be all about draft picks and washed-up quarterbacks, of course, as every training camp brings with it a fresh crop of undrafted free agents eager for any opportunity they can find to make an impression. There is still a long way to go until the initial 53-man roster needs to be set, but if recent history is a guide, then we may have an idea of who might have the lead among the 14 undrafted free agents currently on Cleveland’s roster. Last year, general manager Andrew Berry kept six UDFAs on the initial 53-man roster, including the top three players who received the most guaranteed money: safety Donovan McMillon, cornerback Lamareon James, and defensive end/fullback Adin Huntington . McMillon and Huntington went on to play for the Browns during the season, while James was released in mid-September and is currently on the practice squad of the New York Giants . So while it may not ensure a roster spot, it is probably worth noting that four of the current undrafted free agents received guaranteed money in excess of $100,000 this year, according to spotrac.com : Defensive end Logan Fano ($310,000) Defensive end Kordae Sydnor ($275,000) Running back Davon Booth ($165,000) Cornerback Nate Evans ($130,000) In a world where the Browns are paying Deshaun Watson $46 million this season, the figures for the UDFAs are essentially pocket change, but it could still give those four a small advantage in the eyes of the talent evaluators as they progress through training camp and the preseason. It is interesting to note that a player who may receive a lot of attention this summer, cornerback Michael Coats Jr. , is one of just two UDFAs with no guaranteed money (the other is defensive tackle Trey Gooden). If Coats can make an impression on the coaches, that is the kind of feel-good story that everyone can get behind
Browns rookie receiver KC Concepcion sported No. 17 when he was at his introductory press conference and during rookie minicamp. But that’s not the number he’s going to wear going forward. Cleveland announced on Monday that the first-round pick has switched to No. 1. Conception was the No. 24 overall pick of this year’s draft, and was one of two consecutive receivers selected by the club. The first hint of Concepcion’s number change came over the weekend at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere, where he sported No. 1 in the picture that featured the attendees. Concepcion will be a key part of Cleveland’s offense, which is set to be completely revamped under new head coach Todd Monken in 2026
The grades are in , and Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry aced the 2026 NFL draft after putting out a great class in 2025 . Not every issue was solved this offseason, but Berry gave HC Todd Monken a whole new offensive line and, for the first time in the Browns history, two early receivers were selected . The two rookie receivers have fans excited, with KC Concepcion the more dynamic playmaker and Denzel Boston the bigger, sure-handed outside and redzone threat . Cleveland still needs to have competent quarterback play for the young pass catchers to succeed in the NFL, but production is only a part of the equation in their rookie season. According to former NFL DT Breidan Fehoko, Boston in particular will be put in a position to succeed. Fehoko said Boston’s route tree could look similar to Justin Jefferson ’s : If Boston’s season and game are compared to Jefferson after his rookie campaign, those NFL draft grades will be prophetic. To be fair, the two receivers also play the game very differently, even if they end up running similar routes in their respective systems

Featured pricing is subject to change. The Cleveland Browns have firmer plans than they did a year ago. Well, slightly. After a season dominated by headlines about who would start at quarterback, new Head Coach Todd Monken has yet to name DeShaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders (or dark horse Dillon Gabriel ) as his first stringer. “I’m not ready to say that yet,” Monken said when asked if Sanders, who finished 2025 with a 3-4 record in games he started, had the edge. Regardless of that pesky roster decision, Cleveland does have one thing working in their favor: They’ve been blessed with the NFL’s easiest schedule in 2026. Yahoo! Sports reports that out of all 32 teams, their strength of schedule is the weakest, with their opponents tallying a collective .429 winning percentage in ’25. Not all of their opponents are slouches, though. Just a few of the biggest home games going down at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field include showdowns with competitive teams like Bryce Young ’s Carolina Panthers (Sept. 27), T.J. Watt ’s Pittsburgh Steelers (Oct. 1), Lamar Jackson ’s Baltimore Ravens (Oct. 18), C.J. Stroud ’s Houston Texans (Nov. 15) and Daniel Jones ’ Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027, which is the last home game of the season. Throw in the fact that the franchise signed Zion Johnson , Elgton Jenkins , Kalia Davis , Quincy Williams and Jack Stoll and had an exceptional draft, scooping up offensive tackle Spencer Fano and wideouts KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston and there’s downright reason for optimism in Cleveland. All that’s missing now is you. If you’re hoping to make it out to the Dawg Pound to see the new guys along with fan favorites Myles Garrett , Denzel Ward , Quinshon Judkins , Carson Schwesinger , and either Watson, Sanders, or Gabriel, tickets are available for all eight Cleveland Browns 2026 home games at Huntington Bank Field on SeatGeek. The Browns have signed second-round safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren to his four-year rookie deal, the team announced. Cleveland has now signed nine of its 10 draft picks, with only first-round wide receiver KC Concepcion remaining unsigned. The Browns drafted McNeil-Warren with the 58th overall pick out of Toledo. He appeared in 53 career games with 14 starts at Toledo in his four collegiate seasons. McNeil-Warren played in all 13 games in 2025, recording 77 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, half a sack and two interceptions, while earning third-team AP All-America honors. Browns first-round offensive tackle Spencer Fano, second-round wide receiver Denzel Boston, third-round tackle Austin Barber, fifth-round center Parker Brailsford, fifth-round linebacker Justin Jefferson, fifth-round tight end Joe Royer, sixth-round quarterback Taylen Green and seventh-round tight end Carsen Ryan previously signed
Browns head coach Todd Monken, who previously worked with Zay Flowers in Baltimore, sees similar traits in rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion. Monken highlighted Concepcion's practice habits and daily contributions as comparable to Flowers, suggesting he could bring a similar impact to the Browns' offense
Fit often matters as much as talent to success in the NFL . That's especially true for rookies, as it's the shortest offseason they'll ever have at any level of football to get up to speed. Landing in a spot that gives them a clear path to the field and plays to their strengths is a big factor in their immediate impact. The All-Rookie team isn't a formal award like All-Pros or Pro Bowlers. The PFWA has done its own since 1974, but its positional designations are incredibly dated, with two running backs and three linebackers included. Let's use modern positional designations and predict who will have the most productive seasons among this year's rookie class based on their talent, NFL readiness and opportunity to produce. This is the easiest one on the entire list. Fernando Mendoza could easily be the only rookie quarterback who starts this season. The 13th overall pick, Ty Simpson, will only play for the Rams if Matthew Stafford goes down, and third-rounders Carson Beck and Drew Allar were third-rounders for a reason. If Mendoza doesn't start Week 1, he should by Week 5 at the latest, and he'll have one of the best play-callers in the NFL in Klint Kubiak. It's either Jeremiyah Love or his former Notre Dame teammate Jadarian Price here. Anyone else would be a long shot in a historically weak running back class with only one other top-100 pick (Kaelon Black), and he backs up Christian McCaffrey. Love lands with coach Mike LaFleur, who, as offensive coordinator for the Jets , had Breece Hall averaging 5.8 yards per carry as a rookie before tearing his ACL midseason. Carnell Tate is an obvious selection. He walks into a spot where he's the unquestioned No. 1 receiver option for Cam Ward, filling the role the Titans missed dearly last year. KC Concepcion is a little less obvious, as he doesn't exactly have a high-volume passing offense to put up big numbers. What he does have, however, is a clear-cut path to targets and an NFL-ready game. Concepcion finished as the No. 1 wide receiver on my draft board because of his ability to separate against man coverage, which should translate immediately in the NFL. Antonio Williams is one of the most experienced slot receivers in the draft class, with nearly 1,000 routes run from that spot in his collegiate career. He'll fit seamlessly into the Commanders ' offense, which lost leading receiver Deebo Samuel, who operated primarily from the slot. Williams has an obvious path to a hefty target load with Jayden Daniels hopefully healthy all season. There wasn't a clean landing spot for any of the top tight ends this year. None of the nine taken in the top 100 went to a team where they'll be the unquestioned No. 1 at the position. Kenyon Sadiq , at minimum, will garner schemed targets because of his ability after the catch. He should easily usurp last year's second-rounder, Mason Taylor, for targets in the Jets' offense. Spencer Fano had the cleanest tape of any offensive lineman in the draft and will be the clear-cut starter at left tackle for the Browns next season. Blake Miller is the only other tackle in the draft with no roadblocks to a starting role, so he's the choice here by default. Monroe Freeling, Max Iheanachor and Caleb Lomu all look destined to take redshirt years with the Panthers , Steelers and Patriots, respectively. There were three top-15 picks who will start at guard as rookies, meaning Francis Mauigoa is the odd man out here. I believe Olaivavega Ioane's experience at guard will make his transition easier, while Kadyn Proctor's biggest weakness -- his foot speed -- gets mitigated by moving inside. While Keylan Rutledge technically never played center in 3,019 career snaps in college, this looks like his most likely position based on the contracts Houston gave out this offseason. As the second-ranked true interior offensive lineman on my board, Rutledge playing a new position shouldn't worry Texans fans much. The common thread here is their work in the run game, wh

Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins ran with power and purpose in 2025 before a dislocated ankle and fractured fibula ended his rookie season. Even with the presumption of full health heading into year two, there were still concerns that his fantasy ceiling could be capped in a pedestrian Cleveland offense. With the Browns committing heavily to one side of the ball in the 2026 NFL Draft, many of those concerns have been assuaged, and Judkins has risen to RB12 in RotoBaller's dynasty rankings. With the ninth overall pick, Cleveland made Utah's Spencer Fano the first offensive lineman off the board before spending its next two picks on receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. With 2025 breakout tight end Harold Fannin Jr. already in the mix, the Browns have assembled the pieces of what could be a potent offense, putting Judkins in a far more favorable position if the team can overcome what again projects to be below-average quarterback play. Judkins ran for 827 yards as a rookie, but with defenses often keying on him, only 11.1% of that total came before contact. The additions made by Cleveland through the draft should help to open more space, and if the team can find a quarterback fix through one of the four players currently on the roster or in a loaded 2027 draft class, Judkins' hard-running consistency could soon make him a dynasty running back worth building around
The Cleveland Browns have signed eight of their ten draft picks, including first-round offensive tackle Spencer Fano, to their rookie contracts. Other signed draft picks include wide receiver Denzel Boston, tackle Austin Barber, center Parker Brailsford, linebacker Justin Jefferson, tight ends Joe Royer and Carsen Ryan, and quarterback Taylen Green. Wide receiver KC Concepcion and safety Emmaneul McNeil-Warren remain unsigned. The team also added 12 undrafted free agents, including Spencer's brother, defensive end Logan Fano, along with running backs Davon Booth and TJ Harden, among others
Cleveland Browns rookie first-round wide receiver KC Concepcion said he wants to "build a connection" with second-year quarterback Shedeur Sanders, and not veteran QB Deshaun Watson (Achilles), according to Ryan Heckman of the Dawg Pound Daily. Concepcion has previously interacted with Sanders and called him a "great guy" and a "great leader." Although the 21-year-old North Carolina State product apparently thinks Sanders should be the team's starting QB in 2026, reports have surfaced that suggest Watson is the current leader in the QB competition after early offseason workouts. Sanders has more of a future in Cleveland than Watson does, but new head coach Todd Monken might only be focusing on 2026 and who gives the team the best chance to win. Concepcion had a prolific career in college, but he'll have to battle for targets in his rookie season with fellow rookie Denzel Boston and Jerry Jeudy. His short- and long-term fantasy value might look better if Sanders wins the starting job, too
Cleveland Browns wide receiver KC Concepcion has been on the team for less than 48 hours, and he's already facing competition on the depth chart. The Browns selected Concepcion, a Texas A&M product, with the 24th overall pick, suggesting that he had a strong chance to open the year as the team's No. 1 receiver over Jerry Jeudy. That remains true, but his projected target share was scaled back a little after the Browns also drafted Washington's Denzel Boston. The 39th overall pick, Boston's draft capital is also significant enough that he should see a meaningful snap and target share early in the season. In fact, entering the draft, Boston (#34) ranked three spots higher than Concepcion (#37) in RotoBaller's dynasty fantasy football rankings. There's a realistic scenario in which both Concepcion and Boston flourish, especially with how poorly Jeudy has played in past years. Still, any chance of the former Aggie being a standalone alpha in this receiver room has likely faded away
Coming into the 2026 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns did not have a wide receiver on the roster who caught more than 50 passes or two touchdowns in 2025, but the team appears to have given the room an immediate lift with the drafting of Texas A&M receiver KC Concepcion with the 24th pick of the first round. Winner of the 2025 Paul Hornung Award, given to the most versatile player in college football, the 6'0", 196-pound Concepcion should find the field right away in a Todd Monken offense that saw Zay Flowers finish as the fantasy WR7 in their final season together in Baltimore. The rest of Cleveland's depth chart is currently comprised of the 27-year-old Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman, who has averaged 1.7 receptions per game across his last 15 outings. Concepcion's strongest competition for targets will likely come from tight end Harold Fannin Jr., fresh off a 72-catch rookie campaign, but the biggest hindrance to his early fantasy success will be the quarterback situation in Cleveland. Three different Browns starters in 2025 combined for 3,152 passing yards, better than only the New York Jets, along with 16 touchdowns and 18 interceptions, also bottom-three numbers. If Cleveland can get anything even close to league-average quarterback play from Deshaun Watson, now more than 15 months removed from his second Achilles tear, or a second-year Shedeur Sanders, Concepcion should make an immediate impact from the mid-first round of dynasty rookie drafts
The Browns selected Concepcion in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 24th overall. Concepcion began his career at North Carolina State, where he posted one of the most productive true freshman seasons of all time (71 receptions for 839 yards and 10 touchdowns on 106 targets, 41 carries for 320 yards), putting himself on the national map as a big-play open-field menace. His sophomore season was less successful, but Concepcion bounced back as a junior after transferring to Texas A&M in 2025. At 6-feet, 196 pounds Concepcion is just big enough to project for two-wide sets and thus avoid the dreaded 'Slot Specialist' label, but his game will still probably center mostly on the underneath and intermediate portion of the field due to questions with his hands and downfield route-running ability. Concepcion's ability to stop, start and change direction is memorable and should make him a dangerous YAC threat if nothing else. A March knee scope is believed to be a non-issue
The Cleveland Browns have selected WR KC Concepcion with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Concepcion heads to Cleveland with the 24th overall pick and he becomes the fourth receiver to be taken in the first round. Concepcion averaged 15.1 yards per catch with Texas A&M and led the Aggies in yards, receptions, and receiving touchdowns last season. He has average size (5-11, 196), but has great speed, especially in the open field. He had some drop issues last season, but he can be utilized in a number of different ways including designed touches out of the backfield and screens that result in explosive plays. Concepcion was also a threat on special teams, returning two punts for touchdowns in 2025. He could develop into a Rashid Shaheed type of player for the Browns and he should be given an opportunity to provide an immediate impact at both receiver and in the return game in 2026
