The Cleveland Browns are making several roster moves and signaling a potential return for Deshaun Watson as QB1. Andrew Berry has improved the roster, particularly at WR, which could put Cedric Tillman on the chopping block. Rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston is showing promise, and the Browns are optimistic about the pairing of KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston from the 2026 draft. Additionally, new minority owners with stakes in other teams are joining the Browns
The Cleveland Browns returned to the practice fields in Berea on Tuesday for OTAs . While there is no media presence for the first practice, we will have video, pictures, and interviews on Wednesday. Excitement continues to build around the team with rookie WRs KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston getting attention , including Boston’s route tree being compared to one of the best in the game . As always with GM Andrew Berry, the Browns roster remains in flux. At rookie minicamp, the first under new HC Todd Monken, Cleveland had 25 tryout players in Berea . Tuesday, the Browns roster saw six changes, including two of those tryout players signing to the 90-man roster: Signed WR Aaron Anderson LB Reid Carrico DE Markees Watts Anderson and Carrico were among the tryout players at rookie camp, while Watts is entering his fourth season after spending the last three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last season, Watts played in 15 games, had nine tackles, one QB hit, and a half sack. He played just 26 snaps on defense, but 235 on special teams. Waived DT Bernard Gooden TE Caden Prieskorn WR Isaiah Wooden Gooden was signed as an undrafted free agent shortly after the NFL draft. Prieskorn and Wooden signed future/reserve contracts after the 2025 season ended

Browns WR KC Concepcion causes commotion at NFLPA Rookie Premiere (Browns Wire) – Cleveland Browns’ first-round wide receiver KC Concepcion had been assigned the number 17 and had worn it during rookie minicamp. This has sparked a commotion among the fanbase about what the actual jersey assignments are, and there is more than one player at play here. The Cleveland Browns are always entertaining during training camp, but this summer should be particularly interesting. Offensive line coach George Warhop will be working to get up to five new starters, headlined by first-round draft pick Spencer Fano, up to speed before the start of the regular season. Wide receivers coach Christian Jones will be doing the same with rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston , while also working on the potential of second-year player Isaiah Bond to help take some of the pressure off erratic veteran Jerry Jeudy . Finally, head coach Todd Monken and offensive coordinator Travis Switzer have to figure out what to do with one of the most malodorous quarterback rooms in the NFL, where a once seemingly unbelievable outcome may become reality . It will not be all about draft picks and washed-up quarterbacks, of course, as every training camp brings with it a fresh crop of undrafted free agents eager for any opportunity they can find to make an impression. There is still a long way to go until the initial 53-man roster needs to be set, but if recent history is a guide, then we may have an idea of who might have the lead among the 14 undrafted free agents currently on Cleveland’s roster. Last year, general manager Andrew Berry kept six UDFAs on the initial 53-man roster, including the top three players who received the most guaranteed money: safety Donovan McMillon, cornerback Lamareon James, and defensive end/fullback Adin Huntington . McMillon and Huntington went on to play for the Browns during the season, while James was released in mid-September and is currently on the practice squad of the New York Giants . So while it may not ensure a roster spot, it is probably worth noting that four of the current undrafted free agents received guaranteed money in excess of $100,000 this year, according to spotrac.com : Defensive end Logan Fano ($310,000) Defensive end Kordae Sydnor ($275,000) Running back Davon Booth ($165,000) Cornerback Nate Evans ($130,000) In a world where the Browns are paying Deshaun Watson $46 million this season, the figures for the UDFAs are essentially pocket change, but it could still give those four a small advantage in the eyes of the talent evaluators as they progress through training camp and the preseason. It is interesting to note that a player who may receive a lot of attention this summer, cornerback Michael Coats Jr. , is one of just two UDFAs with no guaranteed money (the other is defensive tackle Trey Gooden). If Coats can make an impression on the coaches, that is the kind of feel-good story that everyone can get behind
For the Cleveland Browns, HC Todd Monken and QB Deshaun Watson may have hit the ground running , rookie WR Denzel Boston might run similar routes to WR Justin Jefferson , and the Browns may have done a really good job overall in the offseason , but that doesn’t mean expectations should be high. While Cleveland may enter their bye week with a winning record , they are already a strong underdog for Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars . A few games on the schedule changed difficulty based on the order things were laid out, with the Browns having some interesting quarterbacks ahead in 2026 . If Vegas betting lines are to be believed, courtesy of Yahoo Sports , Cleveland fans should not be expecting many wins. The Browns are currently only favored twice this season: Week 1 vs Jacksonville: Jags by 7.5 Week 2 vs Tampa Bay: Bucs by 5.5 Week 3 vs Carolina: Panthers by 1.5 Week 4 vs Pittsburgh : Steelers by 2.5 Week 5 vs New York: Jets by 1.5 Week 6 vs Baltimore : Ravens by 6.5 Week 7 vs Tennessee : Titans by 2.5 Week 8 vs Pittsburgh: Steelers by 5.5 Week 9 vs New Orleans : Saints by 3.5 Week 10 vs Houston : Texans by 4.5 Week 12 vs Las Vegas : Browns by 2.5 Week 13 vs Cincinnati : Bengals by 4.5 Week 14 vs Atlanta : Browns by 1.5 Week 15 vs New York: Giants by 4.5 Week 16 vs Baltimore: Ravens by 9.5 Week 17 vs Indianapolis : Colts by 1.5 Week 18 vs Cincinnati: Bengals by 7.5 As training camp and preseason progress, Cleveland could see some changes to these numbers. Seven games are currently under a field goal difference, so a small adjustment could change which team is favored. Are you surprised the Browns are only favored in 2 games? The grades are in , and Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry aced the 2026 NFL draft after putting out a great class in 2025 . Not every issue was solved this offseason, but Berry gave HC Todd Monken a whole new offensive line and, for the first time in the Browns history, two early receivers were selected . The two rookie receivers have fans excited, with KC Concepcion the more dynamic playmaker and Denzel Boston the bigger, sure-handed outside and redzone threat . Cleveland still needs to have competent quarterback play for the young pass catchers to succeed in the NFL, but production is only a part of the equation in their rookie season. According to former NFL DT Breidan Fehoko, Boston in particular will be put in a position to succeed. Fehoko said Boston’s route tree could look similar to Justin Jefferson ’s : If Boston’s season and game are compared to Jefferson after his rookie campaign, those NFL draft grades will be prophetic. To be fair, the two receivers also play the game very differently, even if they end up running similar routes in their respective systems

The deal pays Rodgers somewhere between $22 million and $23 million in base salary, with incentives up to $25 million — a significant pay bump from his one-year, $13.65 million deal last year. Will Aaron Rodgers be a bridge to the Steelers’ future or a roadblock? (The Athletic) – When future Hall of Fame signal caller Aaron Rodgers and the QB-desperate Pittsburgh Steelers came together last offseason, everyone involved anticipated it would be a one-and-done season that would push both sides closer to their next chapters. Featured pricing is subject to change. The Cleveland Browns have firmer plans than they did a year ago. Well, slightly. After a season dominated by headlines about who would start at quarterback, new Head Coach Todd Monken has yet to name DeShaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders (or dark horse Dillon Gabriel ) as his first stringer. “I’m not ready to say that yet,” Monken said when asked if Sanders, who finished 2025 with a 3-4 record in games he started, had the edge. Regardless of that pesky roster decision, Cleveland does have one thing working in their favor: They’ve been blessed with the NFL’s easiest schedule in 2026. Yahoo! Sports reports that out of all 32 teams, their strength of schedule is the weakest, with their opponents tallying a collective .429 winning percentage in ’25. Not all of their opponents are slouches, though. Just a few of the biggest home games going down at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field include showdowns with competitive teams like Bryce Young ’s Carolina Panthers (Sept. 27), T.J. Watt ’s Pittsburgh Steelers (Oct. 1), Lamar Jackson ’s Baltimore Ravens (Oct. 18), C.J. Stroud ’s Houston Texans (Nov. 15) and Daniel Jones ’ Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027, which is the last home game of the season. Throw in the fact that the franchise signed Zion Johnson , Elgton Jenkins , Kalia Davis , Quincy Williams and Jack Stoll and had an exceptional draft, scooping up offensive tackle Spencer Fano and wideouts KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston and there’s downright reason for optimism in Cleveland. All that’s missing now is you. The Browns have signed second-round safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren to his four-year rookie deal, the team announced. Cleveland has now signed nine of its 10 draft picks, with only first-round wide receiver KC Concepcion remaining unsigned. The Browns drafted McNeil-Warren with the 58th overall pick out of Toledo. He appeared in 53 career games with 14 starts at Toledo in his four collegiate seasons. McNeil-Warren played in all 13 games in 2025, recording 77 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, half a sack and two interceptions, while earning third-team AP All-America honors. Browns first-round offensive tackle Spencer Fano, second-round wide receiver Denzel Boston, third-round tackle Austin Barber, fifth-round center Parker Brailsford, fifth-round linebacker Justin Jefferson, fifth-round tight end Joe Royer, sixth-round quarterback Taylen Green and seventh-round tight end Carsen Ryan previously signed
Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins ran with power and purpose in 2025 before a dislocated ankle and fractured fibula ended his rookie season. Even with the presumption of full health heading into year two, there were still concerns that his fantasy ceiling could be capped in a pedestrian Cleveland offense. With the Browns committing heavily to one side of the ball in the 2026 NFL Draft, many of those concerns have been assuaged, and Judkins has risen to RB12 in RotoBaller's dynasty rankings. With the ninth overall pick, Cleveland made Utah's Spencer Fano the first offensive lineman off the board before spending its next two picks on receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. With 2025 breakout tight end Harold Fannin Jr. already in the mix, the Browns have assembled the pieces of what could be a potent offense, putting Judkins in a far more favorable position if the team can overcome what again projects to be below-average quarterback play. Judkins ran for 827 yards as a rookie, but with defenses often keying on him, only 11.1% of that total came before contact. The additions made by Cleveland through the draft should help to open more space, and if the team can find a quarterback fix through one of the four players currently on the roster or in a loaded 2027 draft class, Judkins' hard-running consistency could soon make him a dynasty running back worth building around
166 out of 257 draft picks have signed their NFL contracts as of Friday night. Rounds five and seven have the highest signing percentages at 85%. Notably, only 12 first-round picks and seven second-round picks have signed, with contract negotiations for fully-guaranteed deals being a sticking point for some second-rounders. The Lions, Rams, and Dolphins are the only teams yet to sign any of their draft picks. The trend is to get players signed before rookie minicamp
The Cleveland Browns have signed eight of their ten draft picks, including first-round offensive tackle Spencer Fano, to their rookie contracts. Other signed draft picks include wide receiver Denzel Boston, tackle Austin Barber, center Parker Brailsford, linebacker Justin Jefferson, tight ends Joe Royer and Carsen Ryan, and quarterback Taylen Green. Wide receiver KC Concepcion and safety Emmaneul McNeil-Warren remain unsigned. The team also added 12 undrafted free agents, including Spencer's brother, defensive end Logan Fano, along with running backs Davon Booth and TJ Harden, among others
The Cleveland Browns have selected WR Denzel Boston with the No. 39 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Boston becomes the second wide receiver taken by the Browns in the first two rounds of the 2026 Draft as they double up after selecting KC Concepcion in the first round Thursday. Boston is a much larger receiver (6-3, 212) out of Washington and led the Huskies in receiving yards last season. He did not run a 40-yard dash at the combine and doesn't display top speed to create separation. But, he does have excellent hands and he was very tough to bring down at the collegiate level. It's a little surprising that the Browns took another receiver with a need for offensive line help. But, Cleveland is looking for playmakers to improve the offense in 2026 and Boston should help with that as part of the receiver rotation
The Browns selected Boston in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 39th overall. Boston (6-foot-4, 212 pounds) has the build to impose physicality and reach from the boundary, where he did big damage especially as a downfield and red-zone jump-ball target at Washington. That Boston declined to run a 40-yard dash before the draft invites the suspicion that he might lack the long speed to regularly push downfield at the NFL level, but if he can keep winning on jump balls in the intermediate and end zone then that might be enough for Boston to prove a quality WR2 in the NFL. It might not be easy for Boston to immediately displace Cedric Tillman as the primary big wideout in Cleveland, but in the long term it's expected that Boston and 24th overall pick KC Concepcion should top the Browns' depth chart at wideout
The Cleveland Browns have selected University of Washington wide receiver prospect Denzel Boston with the 39th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. It's been an offense-heavy draft for the Browns and new head coach Todd Monken. Cleveland selected offensive tackle Spencer Fano and wide receiver KC Concepcion in the first round on Thursday night, and now, they add another receiver on Day 2. The Browns needed a major wide receiver boost after Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman drastically underperformed last year. Boston broke out for 125 catches, 1,715 yards, and 20 touchdowns over his final two seasons at school. He and Concepcion will both compete for an immediate role in the Browns' offense during their rookie seasons. Boston already ranks as the overall WR34 in RotoBaller's latest dynasty fantasy football rankings
The Panthers are hosting Washington WR Denzel Boston for a top-30 visit on Thursday. Carolina holds the No. 19 pick as it looks to potentially add another wide receiver. Boston played for Jedd Fisch for his final two seasons in college, the same system that OROY Tetairoa McMillan played in under Fisch for two seasons at Arizona
Washington WR Denzel Boston is making a top-30 visit with the Steelers. This was reported by ESPN's Field Yates. Boston totaled 125 catches for 1,715 yards with 20 touchdowns the past two seasons at Washington. The Steelers hold the 21st pick in the 2026 draft later this month
