The team announced that they will have two days of joint practices with the Ravens . The grades are in , and Cleveland Browns GM Andrew Berry aced the 2026 NFL draft after putting out a great class in 2025 . Not every issue was solved this offseason, but Berry gave HC Todd Monken a whole new offensive line and, for the first time in the Browns history, two early receivers were selected . The two rookie receivers have fans excited, with KC Concepcion the more dynamic playmaker and Denzel Boston the bigger, sure-handed outside and redzone threat . Cleveland still needs to have competent quarterback play for the young pass catchers to succeed in the NFL, but production is only a part of the equation in their rookie season. According to former NFL DT Breidan Fehoko, Boston in particular will be put in a position to succeed. Fehoko said Boston’s route tree could look similar to Justin Jefferson ’s : If Boston’s season and game are compared to Jefferson after his rookie campaign, those NFL draft grades will be prophetic. To be fair, the two receivers also play the game very differently, even if they end up running similar routes in their respective systems

That's why Jefferson – who thrived working with Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold across the first five seasons of his career – is hoping either McCarthy or Murray can emerge as a franchise quarterback for the team. "That's definitely something that is… I want that, for sure," Jefferson said, referencing a franchise quarterback. "It's definitely difficult for those types of things to happen. But just like me being with Kirk for those first four years of my career, just building on that connection, building on that relationship, that's something that is unbroken, that's something you just don't find just anywhere. "It definitely will be great to have a quarterback, the same quarterback for these next couple years going down the line, but you already know that's something difficult to do in this league. But for sure, to keep knowing that quarterback for these next couple years and build that relationship and create that spark, that's definitely the plan." Murray only signed with the Vikings to a one-year, veteran minimum contract. If he emerges as the top option for Minnesota, the team will likely need to sign him to a lucrative, long-term extension. Meanwhile, McCarthy is in the third season of his four-year rookie contract, so he will be cost-controlled through the 2027 campaign. We’re getting closer to our first look at the 2026 Chicago Bears , and there’s one thing in particular ESPN’s Ben Solak wants to know about this squad: what are sophomore stars Colston Loveland and Luther Burden III about to do now that their roles are set to expand this season? As Bears fans know, general manager Ryan Poles and head coach Ben Johnson moved veteran receiver DJ Moore this past offseason to make room for the glut of young talent in the pass-catching corps, which also includes 2024 No. 9 overall pick Rome Odunze . Assuming Odunze is healthy, he’s likely to see substantial targets and hopefully return to the level of production he enjoyed before leg injuries derailed his own sophomore campaign. But after what Loveland, the No. 10 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, and Burden, the 39th pick in the same class, did down the stretch of their respective rookie seasons, there’s no way they’re not going to be major parts of the offense. Burden’s case is especially intriguing because he figures to slot alongside Odunze as a starter in Moore’s place—a scenario one could envision after he started to break out late in his rookie campaign. “Burden averaged 2.92 yards per route run during the regular season. That’s tied with A.J. Brown for the best mark for a rookie receiver (minimum 50 targets) in the past 15 years. Just below Burden and Brown are Justin Jefferson, Odell Beckham Jr. , Puka Nacua and Ja’Marr Chase. Those players did it on remarkably higher volume than Burden, but even the low-usage rookies who spiked in yards per route run ( Tank Dell , Christian Watson , Tyreek Hill , Doug Baldwin ) indicate a promising future for Burden,” Solak wrote. After a slow start that likely had to do with a combination of inexperience and too many bodies ahead of him, Burden started getting more opportunities after Odunze went down and Olamide Zaccheaus ’ hands turned into a liability. His explosive run-after-catch ability and improving route-running continued to earn him more snaps until he posted a three-game stretch of 67, 84, and 138 receiving yards in three of his final four regular-season games. Johnson sounds extremely committed to giving him more opportunities in 2026. Assuming Burden makes the strides with the playbook that we’d expect, we should expect him to take advantage. That said, we all know who the real top dog in this pass-catching pecking order is now. Loveland’s insane finish to last season placed him almost immediately into top-five tight end conversations, punctuated by his monstrous eight-catch, 137-yard performance in the Wild Card Round against the Green Bay Packers . Calling him “unguardable” in that game didn’t do it justice. And there’s more where that came from, suggests Solak. “Loveland is an impossible cover. Long and rangy, Loveland eats up ground similar to a receiver in his route stem. Loveland is snappy enough to separate from linebackers, but the real issue is how his size and toughness make him nearly impossible to play through. Safeties keep trying to light him up at the catch point with big hits. They look like they’re hit-sticking a telephone pole. “The real needle-mover for Loveland is his blocking ability. He can dig out defensive ends and hold his water one-on-one in the running game. This makes him doubly dangerous in the play-action pass game, as his pre-snap alignment doesn’t tip Johnson’s hand to the opposing defensive coordinator. Safeties and linebackers have to meet him aggressively when he’s blocking downhill. But if they guess wrong and he’s climbing vertically for a route, their goose is cooked,” he wrote of the rising second-year tight end. Loveland’s massive surge, plus some injuries to the receiving corps, pushed him into the team lead for catches and receptions by year’s end. While the likes of Odunze will undoubtedly get a high share of targets in 2026 now that he’s back, Loveland is the real problem in that offense right now. Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson had a consistent starting quarterback for his first four seasons in Kirk Cousins. While Sam Darnold played well for the Vikings in 2024, Minnesota started three QBs in 2025 with mainly poor results: J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz, and Max Brosmer. Minnesota went 9-8 last season, but the quarterbacks combined to throw for just 2,802 yards with 17 touchdowns and 21 interceptions on a 61.4 percent completion rate (running back Cam Akers also had a 32-yard touchdown pass). That level of play is part of why Jefferson finished with just 1,048 yards and two touchdowns, despite playing all 17 games. The only other time in his career he finished with fewer than 1,400 yards was in 2023, when he appeared in just 10 games. The Vikings signed Kyler Murray in free agency, and he’s widely expected to be the team’s Week 1 starter. But McCarthy, Wentz, and Brosmer are all back — and ostensibly all have eyes on that QB1 spot. In a Friday interview with NFL Network’s Good Morning Football, Jefferson was asked what he’d like to see from Minnesota’s QB derby this offseason. “Just competition, for real,” Jefferson said. “Just to see who’s going to be that last man standing, who’s going to be that dog, who’s going to be that leader to carry us throughout this season — because that’s definitely a missing piece that we’re looking for and something that’s very important to our team, which is the quarterback spot. Taking Ricky Bobby’s dad’s advice to heart and twisting it into something for dynasty purposes: if you’re not looking a year ahead, you’re behind. It’s a little early to be thinking about the 2027 rookie class; after all, the 2026 season is still months away. But 2027 rookie picks are some of the most valuable assets in our game right now. Seriously, try trading for one in your league. Unless you’re offering a top-30 startup player, good luck prying that pick from a manager’s hands. With that in mind, I wanted to take a stab at what the first round of a 2027 dynasty rookie superflex draft might look like around this time next year. Alright, this is why dynasty managers have been trying to sell their souls for 2027 first-round picks over the last two years. Jeremiah Smith is the white whale of this draft. The kid walked into Ohio State as a true freshman and reeled in 76 catches for 1,311 yards and 15 touchdowns. He did that with Emeka Egbuka and Carnell Tate on the roster, both of whom were top 20 selections in their respective drafts. Jeremiah Smith 2025 Highlights. He is a stat machine and should be an absolute stud at the next level. He’s a prospect with a Ja’Marr Chase- or Justin Jefferson-type ceiling. Any manager who even has a realistic chance at the 1.01 should be doing whatever they can to secure that pick. You’ll either get a true generational talent or be able to flip it for a massive, roster-altering haul. If Arch Manning turns pro after the 2026 season, I’m assuming it’s because he had an impressive campaign. And if that happens, the Manning name will be too much of an allure for both NFL teams and dynasty managers alike. Manning struggled at times against elite competition in his first year as a starter, but did end the season with some solid stats: 3,163 passing yards, 399 rushing yards, with 26 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing scores. Obviously, he has the pedigree; he just needs to improve his processing and decision-making. If Manning does that, he’ll be a top-three pick in both the NFL Draft and superflex rookie drafts. In a surprise move, Dante Moore decided not to enter the 2026 Draft and stayed at Oregon for another season. Ballsy move, as he likely would’ve been the No. 2 overall pick behind Fernando Mendoza. Moore was uber-impressive in 2025, completing 71.8% of his throws for 3,565 yards with 30 passing touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He has a lightning-fast release and excellent ball placement at all three levels. Unfortunately, Moore is not much of a rusher, so his fantasy upside is capped. Standing at 6-foot-4 and 204 pounds, he profiles more like a C.J. Stroud than a Jayden Daniels. Tired of bad quarterback play at Auburn, Cam Coleman is headed to Texas to play with Manning. Standing at 6-foot-3, he’s your classic X receiver — and a dangerous one at that. Coleman is a major threat down the field and in the red zone thanks to his hops and ball-tracking ability. If he takes a step forward and surpasses his 708 yards and five touchdowns from last season, Coleman has a chance to be a high draft pick next April. He’ll only be 20 years old this time next year, so there’s a lengthy (and hopefully productive) career ahead of Coleman at the pro level. This kid burst onto the scene and took the SEC by storm as a sophomore last year. He had 335 total touches, rushing for 1,567 yards and chipping in 177 through the air. His 24 rushing touchdowns were third all-time in SEC history, behind only Najee Harris (25) and Derrick Henry (28). While we wait for the full release of the 2026 NFL regular-season schedule — and comb through the details we do have such as the nine international games — we start to think about what teams have a tough road in the year ahead, and what teams will barely even go on the road. The Carolina Panthers fall into the latter category. Due to the NFL’s scheduling formula, the Panthers have just eight road games this year. Those include games against their NFC South division rivals, games against the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers (as the NFC South squares off with the AFC North in 2026), and a game against the Philadelphia Eagles . When you add up all the road trips, the Panthers are traveling just 8,740 miles this year, the fewest in the league, according to this projection . Not too far behind are the Cleveland Browns, who will rack up just 9,073 miles this year. It probably comes as no surprise that the two teams that are traveling the most are the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams, who will meet in Week 1 in the NFL’s first regular-season game in Australia. The two NFC West rivals will square off at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on September 11 in Australia/September 10 here in the United States. That is not the only international game on San Francisco ’s slate, as the 49ers will travel to Mexico City to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. As for the Panthers, this schedule could be a blessing. Last year the New England Patriots advanced to Super Bowl LX, and while the relative ease of their schedule was a talking point, another factor in their rise was how little New England traveled in 2025 . Until the Patriots traveled to Denver to take on the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game, their longest trek in 2025 was to New Orleans to play the Saints , and they left the Eastern Time Zone just twice during the regular season: For that Saints game, and for a game against the Tennessee Titans . Could the Panthers follow a similar path to a Super Bowl?

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is coming off the worst season of his six-year career. He hit single-season yardage and touchdown lows, while his 4.9 receptions per game were approximately a catch and a half below his career average. And yet, Jefferson is still RotoBaller's dynasty WR4, largely because his 2025 struggles can be almost entirely explained away by some of the worst quarterback play in the league. Vikings quarterbacks threw for 3,176 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions in 2025, bottom-four numbers across the board. While Minnesota may not have found a long-term solution at the position, they've at least brought in a Band-Aid for 2026, signing Cardinals castoff Kyler Murray to a one-year deal at the start of free agency. While Murray has had his own struggles of late, he can stand on a proven record of supporting a true number one receiver, peppering DeAndre Hopkins with over 150 targets in their first season together, en route to a WR7 finish in 2020. Even if a clear path out of the darkness wasn't evident at the time, Jefferson was one of the smartest buy-lows of the 2025 season, and at just 26 years old, his cost to acquire may still be suppressed enough to make him a worthwhile buy before the new season starts and he reminds the league of what he's capable
