Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Jets fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys. The Jets have Geno Smith locked in as their starting quarterback for 2026, but it’s an open question as to whom the number two quarterback will be. One option is Bailey Zappe . Zappe has bounced around the NFL since his selection in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots . He has clear physical limitations. His play has been underwhelming with only brief stretches of marginal success. The Jets could also go with Cade Klubnik , the rookie out of Clemson. The Jets probably don’t want him to see the field, but a lack of other viable options could push him up the depth chart. Then there’s Russell Wilson, a former All Pro whose best days are far behind him at age 37. Wilson has publicly stated that the Jets have made a contract offer, and he is deciding between accepting and moving into a television analyst role. Pick your backup in this week’s SB Nation Reacts poll. We will bring you the results later in the week
The Vikings will only have one home preseason game this summer, but they'll get more than one day of work against their opponents that week. The team announced that they will have two days of joint practices with the Ravens . They are set to work with the AFC North team on August 19 and 20 with the preseason game between the teams scheduled for August 22. Joint practices have been a regular occurrence during Vikings' camp in recent years. They have also worked with the Patriots, Browns , Titans, and Cardinals in recent seasons. The Vikings will visit the Giants and Broncos in their first and third preseason games this summer. The Ravens will be hosting the Eagles and Commanders
“Let Russ cook” is quickly turning into “Let Russ ride into retirement.” Former first-team All-Pro cornerback Aqib Talib called on quarterback Russell Wilson to call it curtains on his NFL career and transition to broadcasting. “Do your TV thing, Russ,” Talib said on a recent episode of “The Arena: Gridiron.” “It’s over with, man. Once you’ve got to decide, do I even want to play? I think you don’t really want to play. I hate when guys get to the later part of their career and then they start doing the bounce-around thing and they’re not going to win. There was no chip in New York. That’s just going to be another stop on your résumé.” Talib added: “Once you have to decide, it’s over with.” Wilson previously told The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy he was weighing a contract offer from the Jets to be their backup quarterback to starter Geno Smith , but he’s also garnering plenty of interest from TV networks, with CBS reportedly a favorite for his services, should he stop playing. The Chiefs also showed interest in Wilson, but opted to acquire Justin Fields from the Jets as their insurance policy for Patrick Mahomes , who is recovering from a torn ACL. If Wilson chooses to go the television route with CBS, multiple reports have suggested that he would be an analyst on the pregame show “The NFL Today” after the position became available when Matt Ryan left to become the Falcons’ president of football operations. Wilson’s career has really fallen off since he departed the Seahawks after previously looking to be on a Hall of Fame trajectory. He may still see his plaque in Canton, but his last four years have seen him post career-worst quarterback ratings. Wilson lost the starting job to Jaxson Dart while a member of the Giants last season, and sat on the bench of most of the season after the former Ole Miss star took the league by storm
Aaron Rodgers is officially back with the Pittsburgh Steelers. After months of consternation about his future, in the end, all it took was a report that the Steelers were growing weary of Rodgers “will he, won’t he” routine for him to come to the party, sign his one-year deal, and cement that he’s playing in 2026. Funny how that works. This puts the whole Rodgers mess to bed, at least for another season. Now the Steelers can move ahead with some sort of certainty at the quarterback position after staring down the gun of potentially needing to start Mason Rudolph , Will Howard , or rookie Drew Allar — functionally ending the team’s season before it begins. The question now pivots to what is the ceiling of this team with Rodgers at the helm, and could this end up being a massive mistake? The question of whether or not this is the correct move is couched wholly in one incontrovertible fact: Every NFL team needs to rebuild eventually. It’s a reality the Steelers have been staving off since Ben Roethlisberger ’s retirement following the 2021 season, and to their credit, the organization has been competitive — but there’s also been a ceiling when it comes to quarterback. Whether it was Kenny Pickett , Russell Wilson , Justin Fields , or Aaron Rodgers, the team has been a consistent playoff team, but that’s where the success ends. The Steelers have been bounced in the Wild Card round during their last five playoff appearances, and you need to go back to 2017 to find the last time Pittsburgh made it out of the opening round. With the addition of Michael Pittman Jr. there’s no question this is the best receiving corps the team has had in years, and with Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowdle the team has a fascinating one-two punch at running back for this upcoming season. Now it’s time to talk brass tacks: Is this new-look Steelers team demonstrably better for bringing back Aaron Rodgers, and what is their ceiling? By Mark Schofield After months of speculation, the Pittsburgh Steelers have their quarterback for the 2026 season. Aaron Rodgers ended that speculation, agreeing to terms on a one-year deal with the Steelers over this past weekend. Rodgers is already back at work, having been spotted inside the facility as the team opens OTAs this Monday morning. But how much does Rodgers move the needle for the Steelers at this point in his career? Based on last season, probably not much. While Rodgers represented arguably the best option for the Steelers at the most important position in the game, that is also a relative concept. After all, beyond Rodgers the Steelers were looking at second-year quarterback Will Howard, rookie Drew Allar, or longtime backup Mason Rudolph. Given that, Rodgers is the best option. But this is still a quarterback that posted an Adjusted Net Yards per Attempt of 6.3 last year – ranking him 18th among qualified quarterbacks in the NFL – with a QBR of 44.4, which ranked him 27th in the league. When you look at Quarterback Efficiency , a metric that compares both Expected Points Added per Pass and Completion Percentage over Expectation, you see the rest of the picture. Here is that chart, courtesy of RBSDM.com : Last year Rodgers was, at best, a league-average quarterback. How much does a league-average quarterback, one year older, move the needle for the Steelers? Probably not much, in a crowded AFC field and in particular a difficult AFC North, with the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals expected to be tough opponents this year, and the Cleveland Browns coming off a very impressive offseason. What could be a saving grace for the Steelers is that the AFC North is paired with the NFC South this year for non-conference games, which could help their record a bit. But one particular stretch of their schedule stands out: A run following their bye week, which sees Pittsburgh play at Cincinnati, at Philadelphia , against Denver on a short week, against Houston, at Jacksonville , and against Baltimore. Those six

Could it be the NFL is against the Arizona Cardinals ? The reason for the inquiry is that the schedule is not favorable. Not at all. They play too many playoff teams from last year. RELATED: CARDINALS INSTANT PREDICTIONS —————————————————————————————————- The Cardinals were last in the NFC West Division. They were one of four teams that ended up with 14 losses, along with the New York Jets , Las Vegas Raiders , and the Tennessee Titans . That should mean that these four clubs should have some of the easiest schedules the following year, right? Not even close. The Titans are ranked #8, followed by the Jets at #21, the Raiders at #26, and then the Cardinals at #30. Arizona ended up with the third most difficult schedule? There are two conferences with four divisions within each conference. That means eight clubs will come in last. The following season, in theory, every basement team gets the easiest schedule. The NFL is all about parity and helping the downtrodden teams. The last-place teams the Cardinals face this year are the New York Football Giants , Detroit Lions , Jets, New Orleans Saints , and the Raiders. Five of eight. Not bad, right? But hold on. The Lions won 15 games the year before, and in 2025, finished 9-8-0 and almost went to the playoffs. They also lost five of eight games by seven points or less. The Saints won four of their final five games. The Giants are now coached by John Harbaugh, who has a lifetime .614-win percentage, has had 12 playoff appearances, six division titles, and a Super Bowl ring. So, not five of eight. More like two of eight. Division mates Seattle Seahawks went 14-3-0, claimed the division, and then earned the NFC’s #1 seed in the postseason. Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos progressed and took the AFC’s #1 seed with an identical 14-3-0 record. The Cardinals play both this year. How many clubs can say they have mutually Number 1 seeds on their schedule? Anyone? For a team that finished in the cellar of a division, the Cardinals are playing a slew of 2025 playoff clubs. They are everywhere. San Francisco 49ers (twice) Philadelphia Eagles Los Angeles Rams (twice) Broncos Seahawks (twice) Los Angeles Chargers Anyone scoring at home, that’s nine of 17 games. Plus, teams that traditionally are good, such as the Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs . Great googly moogly. Um, what prime time games? The Rams lead with seven scheduled primetime appearances. Opening weekend, the Super Bowl participants square off with the New England Patriots against the Seahawks. The Dallas Cowboys have been trash, and yet they end up with three Sunday Night Football contests. Monday Night Football? Not for fans of the Cardinals. But the NFL gave a game to the Giants, Saints, Falcons , Cowboys, Commanders , Bengals , Chiefs, and Lions. All of these were non-playoff teams from last year, and most had bad seasons. Thursday Night Football? The Giants have a game. So do the Bengals. And the Browns. But not Arizona. And the International series? Three games in London, the first ever in Paris, the annual Munich game, one in Madrid, another in Mexico City, a single contest in Rio, and finally, a game in Melbourne, Australia. Nine ballgames with 18 teams, and not a single one mentions the desert. Thanksgiving Day? Christmas Day? The league’s first Thanksgiving Eve match? Sorry. What if it were known that Barry Sanders was now in the league? Or Eric Dickerson? Or Emmitt Smith? Would you watch, even if it was not your favorite team? Nobody is saying that Notre Dame rookie Jeremiyah Love is any of these running backs, but what if he has similar traits and abilities? What if he finishes his football life in a gold jacket? We don’t know. We don’t know that he won’t be, either. One thing is almost a certainty: as long as he remains vertical, Love will be exciting to watch. And he is being thrown into a new offensive system that relies heavily on a great runner. Love was taken third overall in the NFL draf

The New York Giants need veteran players to return to previous levels of play for a successful 2026 season. While there are concerns about young players like Nabers returning from injury, and the development of Jaxson Dart, established veterans must also step up to make the Giants legitimate playoff contenders
Fans will be getting a healthy dose of the Los Angeles Rams in 2026, but the NFL completely whiffed on the timing of several high-profile matchups. Cramming both Rams-Seahawks games into two of the final three weeks was only the beginning of the league’s scheduling chaos this season. The NFL lost its mind not only waiting to schedule the first Rams-Seahawks game in Week 16, but also making L.A. visit Seattle on a short week. These teams played in a pair of thrillers in the Emerald City — games that were decided by five points, mind you — and this is how you plan to showcase a matchup featuring the NFC’s top squads? Forget the prestige of playing on Christmas; this is a game that deserves to be played on a normal week, either on Sunday or Monday night. That’s far from the only questionable decision the scheduling gurus made. Tell me why the Bills and Chiefs are playing on Thanksgiving night? Buffalo will enter that game on a short week after traveling to Miami , while the Chiefs will similarly be playing on a few days’ rest following a home date with the Cardinals. Thanksgiving shouldn’t feature the most exciting games, because they’re mostly background noise to lull you to sleep once the tryptophan kicks in. Now the NFL’s telling us we have to power through our food comas to watch what is expected to be another thriller between two of the AFC’s best. Seriously? There are several gripes I have about other matchups, and those grievances will be aired as follows: Why are the Bills playing their first game in a new stadium on Thursday Night Football? And against the Lions no less. Even the Raiders got their first game at Allegiant Stadium on Monday Night Football. Yeah, the effin’ Raiders! Let that sink in. The Broncos and Seahawks, who nearly played each other in the Super Bowl, also face off on TNF for some reason. Speaking of the Broncos, they’ll play in a rematch of the controversial Divisional Round game against the Bills on Christmas. What?! Additionally on Christmas, the Packers and Bears will face off at Soldier Field after Chicago defeated their bitter rival twice in the Windy City late last season. Why is another potential thriller being buried on a holiday?! The NFL apparently believes it’s perfectly fine to hide some of its biggest matchups and most important division rivalries on holidays and short weeks. Waiting until the final stretch of the season to stage a Rams-Seahawks rematch, for instance, is inexcusable. This year’s schedule is loaded with blockbuster games, but the league has chosen some baffling ways to present them
Week 12 of the 2026 NFL season features nine distinct broadcast windows, starting on Thanksgiving Eve and concluding on Monday Night Football. This scheduling includes multiple games on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and traditional Sunday and Monday night slots, resulting in nine games being allocated to the Sunday afternoon package
The Seattle Seahawks’ 2026 regular season schedule is all set , starting with a Wednesday night kickoff and Super Bowl banner unfurling night against the New England Patriots . Before we get to September’s regular season action, there will be a trio of preseason games in August. Whenever a team has an extra home regular season game, the NFL reduces the home preseason offering to just one. We’ll see the Seahawks’ lone Lumen Field exhibition against the Brian Schottenheimer-led Dallas Cowboys, whom Seattle will play on a Monday night in Week 13 of the regular season. They’ll head to Nashville to play the Tennessee Titans for the second time over the last three preseasons, and their final exhibition game will be at the Kansas City Chiefs , another would-be Seahawks primetime opponent . Week 1 (Saturday, Aug. 15) : vs. Dallas Cowboys at 5 pm PT on KING-5 Week 2 (Sunday, Aug. 23) : at Tennessee Titans at 5 pm PT on FOX Week 3 (Friday, Aug. 28) : at Kansas City Chiefs at 5 pm PT on KING-5 If you’re fretting about the two games not shown nationally on FOX, don’t worry! NFL Network will announce preseason simulcasts in the coming weeks, so if you live out of market this is another viable option to watch Seattle’s exhibitions. There are also a host of secondary affiliates in the Pacific Northwest that carry Seahawks preseason broadcasts, plus the games are available to live stream on Seahawks.com
The Seattle Seahawks were Super Bowl 60 champions , but now that we’ve passed free agency, the 2026 NFL Draft and the schedule has been released , it’s a good time to take stock of the Super Bowl odds for every team for this upcoming season. The Los Angeles Rams are the favorites (+800) to repeat, followed closely by the Seahawks at +950. Those NFC West rivals are the only two teams with single-digit odds to win Super Bowl LXI. The Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills have the next-best odds at 10-1, followed by a triumvirate of yearly contenders in the Detroit Lions , Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles at 15-1. Play 2026 Soccer Pick 'Em with FOX One and make your picks for the world's biggest soccer tournament The Arizona Cardinals , Cleveland Browns , New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are tied for the longest odds at 250-1. No team with preseason odds worse than 40-1 had won the Super Bowl since the 2001 New England Patriots (60-1) ... until the Seahawks won Super Bowl 60 with 60-1 preseason odds, according to Sports Odds History's database . Here are the current Super Bowl odds for every NFL team: Los Angeles Rams: +800 Seattle Seahawks: +950 Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens: 10-1 Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers: 15-1 Kansas City Chiefs , Los Angeles Chargers : 16-1 Denver Broncos : 17-1 New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers : 18-1 Houston Texans : 20-1 Chicago Bears , Cincinnati Bengals , Dallas Cowboys , Jacksonville Jaguars : 25-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers : 40-1 Indianapolis Colts , Minnesota Vikings : 50-1 New York Giants , Washington Commanders : 66-1 Atlanta Falcons , Pittsburgh Steelers : 80-1 Carolina Panthers , New Orleans Saints : 100-1 Las Vegas Raiders , Tennessee Titans : 150-1 Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets: 250-1
The Los Angeles Rams are favored to win Super Bowl LXI at +800, followed by the Seattle Seahawks at +950. The Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills are at 10-1, while the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Philadelphia Eagles are at 15-1. Teams with the longest odds include the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins at 250-1. The Seattle Seahawks defied historical odds by winning Super Bowl 60 with 60-1 preseason odds
After days – maybe weeks? – of anticipation, the 2026 NFL regular-season schedule finally emerged fully formed Thursday, May 14, the remaining gaps filled in after the league revealed so many of its showcase matchups throughout the early part of the week while other leaks sprang elsewhere. And now teams and fans alike know – where are those prime-time battle royales? Is the bye week too early? When is our division rival coming to town? It’s a lot to sift through – and we’ll do so live over the course of the evening – but let’s anoint the winners and brand the losers of this year’s schedule release: OT Tytus Howard: Traded to Cleveland Browns (previous team: Houston Texans) CB Trent McDuffie: Traded to Los Angeles Rams (previous team: Kansas City Chiefs) RB David Montgomery: Traded to Houston Texans (previous team: Detroit Lions) WR DJ Moore: Traded to Buffalo Bills (previous team: Chicago Bears) OT Tytus Howard: Traded to Cleveland Browns (previous team: Houston Texans) OT Tytus Howard: Traded to Cleveland Browns (previous team: Houston Texans) CB Trent McDuffie: Traded to Los Angeles Rams (previous team: Kansas City Chiefs) RB David Montgomery: Traded to Houston Texans (previous team: Detroit Lions) WR DJ Moore: Traded to Buffalo Bills (previous team: Chicago Bears) They reigning Super Bowl champions host the regular-season kickoff Sept. 9 – a Wednesday due to Labor Day’s Sept. 7 placement on the calendar – against the New England Patriots , the team they whacked in Super Bowl 60 in February. But the early game, along with a Thursday night date at Denver in Week 6, plus a Week 11 bye means the ‘Hawks will enjoy quite a few organic breaks throughout the fall – a nice little advantage for a team seeking to qualify for back-to-back Super Sundays for the second time in franchise history. And the fact that the Seahawks are traveling substantially fewer miles than the division rival Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers , who meet in Australia to start the season, doesn’t hurt, either. The league's quest for world domination continues – to the point that international matchups are an increasingly commonplace aspect of the schedule. This year, the NFL will stage games in four continents , seven countries and eight stadiums outside of America – with regular-season debuts occurring in Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro and Paris. It doesn’t seem like we’re very far from all 32 teams playing internationally once per season – which would mean one game abroad almost weekly as the league tries to further slake the foreign appetite for its most valuable inventory while also (likely) staving off any urge to expand outside the U.S. … and the logistical nightmare that would entail. For now. Some NFL players and coaches love the glare of the prime-time spotlight. Others love nothing more than suiting up every Sunday afternoon. Hopefully Cards rookie coach Mike LaFleur falls into the latter category, his rebuilding – and seemingly unimposing squad – is the only one in the NFC that will enter the season without being slotted into a single prime-time slot. Hopefully for the Cardinals, being parked on Sunday afternoon’s every week will mean for steady circadian rhythms as they rebuild their operation in the shadow of their far more imposing big brothers in the NFC West. For much of NFL history, teams could expect to spend the holidays at home. Christmas Day games were few and far between and generally only held if Dec. 25 fell on a day of the week on which the league typically played. That changed in 2021 when the NFL began a new tradition of holding multiple contests on the holiday, and now there are three games on the Christmas Day slate. In the earliest years of the annual tradition, television networks rotated their coverage of the Christmas games. Netflix was the exclusive home of Christmas football in 2024 and has featured two contests every year since. That continues in 2026, while Fox will show the nightcap of the tripleheader. Both of the Netflix games will also be available on local, over-the-air broadcast channels in team markets. Last year's showdown between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings was the most-streamed NFL regular-season game to date. Netflix will try to beat its own record in 2026 and has a strong chance to do so considering both games feature marquee matchups. In addition to the games on Christmas Day, the final week of the 2026 calendar year will also feature a pair of "Thursday Night Football" games on Amazon Prime that happen to fall on holidays. The Houston Texans travel to face the Philadelphia Eagles at 8:15 p.m. ET on Christmas Eve, while the Cincinnati Bengals host the Baltimore Ravens at 8:15 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Below are the three games scheduled for Christmas Day. Date: Friday, Dec. 25 | Time: 1 p.m. ET Location: Soldier Field (Chicago) TV: Netflix The two best teams in last year's NFC North will square off in a rivalry showdown to get the holiday started. It's a rubber match between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers , who are 1-1 against each other on Christmas Day. The Bears took the 2005 contest and the Packers responded in 2011. With both squads expecting to compete for postseason berths, there should be significant playoff implications in this early-window contest. Their battles in Week 14 and Week 16 last season helped shape both the division race and playoff bracket, so it would be nothing new if Ben Johnson and Matt LaFleur find themselves coaching for something more than just bragging rights. The Bears took two of three games from the Packers a year ago with Caleb Williams pulling off some of his patented heroics in both victories. After throwing a game-sealing interception in the 28-21 Week 14 loss, he orchestrated a pair of late comebacks in the next two meetings. In Week 16, the Bears trailed by 10 points with about five minutes left in regulation but stormed back to win in overtime. A few weeks later in the wild card round, they faced an even larger deficit: down 21-3 at halftime. Williams willed Chicago to its first playoff win since 2010, however, when he sparked a 25-point fourth quarter and spearheaded the franchise's largest comeback in a playoff game since 1933. Date: Friday, Dec. 25 | Time: 4:30 p.m. ET Location: Empower Field at Mile High (Denver) TV: Netflix In the middle window is a meeting between a Christmas Day regular and a holiday newbie. The Denver Broncos are set to play their sixth Dec. 25 game and, in doing, so will tie the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys for the most contests played on that date in NFL history. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills will make their Christmas debut. The last two meetings between these teams came in the playoffs. Buffalo won a wild card matchup during the 2024 season in blowout fashion, and Denver returned the favor last year in an absolute thriller of an AFC divisional round game. That postseason triumph -- a 33-30 victory that was equal parts entertaining and controversial -- came at a cost for the Broncos, as Bo Nix broke his right ankle in overtime and proceeded to miss the AFC Championship. Denver is set to play on Christmas Day for the second time in as many years. In last season's holiday nightcap, the Broncos survived against an injury-plagued Chiefs squad that

One of the most highly anticipated games of the season will take place in Week 7, according to Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report. That's when the Seahawks will host Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs . Mahomes is expected to be back by then after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee on Dec. 15. The Seahawks are the defending Super Bowl champions, but Mahomes has won three titles. The Seahawks last faced the Chiefs in 2022 at Arrowhead Stadium. Kansas City last traveled to Seattle in 2018 for a game the Seahawks won 38-31 on Sunday Night Football
We’ve got nearly half the Denver Broncos schedule now leaked ahead of the official schedule release. The latest is a Week 9 road game against the Carolina Panthers. Many expected Carolina to be a dumpster fire last year and they ended up nearly beating the Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs instead. A good reminder never to judge a book by its cover. Denver last faces the Panthers in 2024 and won handily. In fact, they have dominated this series since the Panthers franchise was born. The Broncos own a 9-2 record over the Panthers dating back to 1997. This obviously includes Super Bowl 50. Of all the division winners from 2025, I would put the Panthers at the top of the list for regression this season. I don’t think their roster is all that impressive and while they out-performed massively last season I am doubtful they are able to continue that success for a second season. Though I’ve been wrong before
The 2026 NFL schedule release includes several international games and holiday matchups that will impact fantasy football lineups. Notable international games include Rams vs. 49ers in Australia (Week 1), Ravens vs. Cowboys in Brazil (Week 3), and multiple games in London, Paris, Madrid, Munich, and Mexico City across Weeks 4-11. The international games present time zone challenges and require fantasy managers to adjust their lineup setting strategies
The NFL releases its full regular season schedule tomorrow night. The league is, however, announcing several marquee games ahead of the official release. Today the NFL announced its international games for 2026. The Jets will be stateside for their 17 games. If recent history is any indication, the Jets avoiding an international game might not be the worst thing in the world. The team has played in London the last two years. In 2024 an ugly loss to the Vikings led to the firing of Robert Saleh and the season reaching a point of no turning back. A year ago the Jets lost to the Broncos and managed to produce negative net passing yards behind Justin Fields . The league has seen a drastic expansion of its international schedule in recent years. The number of international games will likely rise in the years ahead. Some have floated the idea that the league could eventually give each team at least one international game per year. So this might be one of the last times you see the Jets play a fully domestic schedule
Free-agent quarterback Russell Wilson said the New York Jets offered him a contract after he visited their facilities last week, according to Ryan Dunleavy of The California Post. The 37-year-old former Super Bowl champion said his visit with the Jets "was great," but he's also mulling a potential opportunity in television with CBS Sports for the 2026 season. If Wilson were to sign with the Jets, it would be as a backup to veteran Geno Smith. The Jets already have rookie Cade Klubnik, Bailey Zappe, and Brady Cook in their QB room in addition to Smith. The 37-year-old 10-time Pro Bowler is nearing the end of his amazing NFL career after the Seattle Seahawks took a chance on him in the third round (75th overall) in 2012 out of Wisconsin. Since leaving Seattle following the 2021 season, Wilson hasn't had much success in Denver, Pittsburgh, and New York. He made six appearances (three starts) with the Giants last year and threw for 831 yards, three touchdowns, and three picks before being benched for young QB Jaxson Dart. At this point, a starting gig in the NFL probably isn't in the cards for Wilson
